2nd Teacher Gift Box

I posted a box a couple of days ago that is similar to this one. That one was given to my middle child's teacher. This box too was for a teacher thank you and given out by my oldest child. I have to say though that this one was harder to give away. I really liked how it turned out. Pictures never really give justice to how a project has really turned out. I may have to try one of those light boxes often used by photographers. But this box was fab. My husband told me I should just make myself one exactly like it. So for a few dets about this project. The pattern I used to design the box is from Laura at Following the Paper Trail. Look for her blog link on the right side of mine under inspiration. From her blog you can find a link to her store where she sells her patterns. Thanks again Laura for sharing your creativity and inspiring me. The DP is Glitz Lace with Grace. The orange roses are made from the Spellbinders Rose Creations dies. You can find a link to the tutorial I found on youTube on my last post titled My 1st Box. The white roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The pearls are Prima. The hardware is Tim Holtz except for the cross which was found again in the jewelry section of HL. I used Tea Dye distress ink to finish all the edges. I am entering this project in the following challenges.

My 1st Box

My 1st Box!!! (At least one this intricate)
This was a blast to make. First off a big thank you to Laura at The Paper Trail. You can find the link to her blog in my sidebar under inspiration. Laura made the pattern for this box and it is still available for purchase through her website.
The DP is Bo Bunny. I should have taken a picture of the inside for there are two more designs there. The flowers on top are made from Basic Grey DP and the new Spellbinders Rose Creations Dies. Love these dies. I found a great tutorial on YouTube for making the flowers - if I can find it again I will post it later at the bottom. The smaller white roses are Wild Orchid Crafts. The pearls I believe are Prima. I picked them up at HL. The hardware is mostly Tim Holtz with the exception of the cross hanging off the front. The cross was from the jewelry section at HL.
I can't remember which ink I used to finish the edges. Like I said I had a blast making this though it did come with a lot of trial and error. Hope you like it. I have another one in the works but I would like to enter this one into the following challenges.
