Angel Tag - Day 1 of 12 Days of Christmas Tags with Treasure Box Designs!

(Update 12/1/15 - If you would like to see Day 2 of 12 Days of Christmas Tags for your chance to win today, please see this post.)

I am so excited to be announcing the Kick Off of 12 Days of Christmas Tags sponsored by

Starting today, I will share with you some super cute tags using fun designs from the Treasure Box Designs' store. And each day you will have a chance to win a prize. More details on that later in this post. Hope you will join me here for the next 12 days!

Here is today's tag:

This is the Angel Tag. To add her to your package, just thread some ribbon through her halo and tie it off. The only thing I did differently was to change her eyes. I wanted a three layer set of eyes to bring in more of the green color to match the buttons on her dress. I used the Sizzix Holly Swirls embossing folder on her dress.

I actually made a set of two! Aren't they just sweet!!! And on the back of both of them, I have stamped "To" and "From."

Here is the image of the cut file from Treasure Box Designs:

http://www.treasureboxdesigns.com/category_78/WEEKLY-FREEBIE.htm

TBD files come in a variety of formats to use with many different cutting machines including my favorite - the SVG format that I use with my Cameo.

And now let's talk about today's blog candy and your chance to win!

The Angel Tag is actually this week's freebie over at Treasure Box Designs and today, Monday, Nov. 30, is the last day to get it as a freebie. After today, it will probably be moved to the $1 section of the store. So for anyone who stops by my blog today, you can head on over to either the Treasure Box Gems FB group or the Treasure Box Designs blog and download the tag for free. Anyone who wants the tag after today will need to purchase the cut file from the TBD store. Then tomorrow, look for Dina's newest freebie! I always look forward to see what creativity she will share with us each week!

But that is not all. One lucky winner will also receive my two completed Angel Tags.

To win, you MUST do the following:

1. Be a Follower or Become a Follower of My Blog using either the "Follow Me on Bloglovin'" or "Join This Site with Google Friends Connect" Buttons on the right side bar of my blog.

2. Leave a comment on this post that includes which of the two methods that you decided to use to follow my blog.

For Extra Entries:

1. Go to the Treasure Box Designs Facebook Page and Like the page and then come back here and leave an extra comment letting me know you did.

2. Go to the Treasure Box Gems Facebook Group and join or become a Follower of the Treasure Box Designs Blog (to keep up with the weekly freebies every Tuesday) and then come back here and leave an extra comment letting me know you did.

3. Follow me on Facebook at M Miranda Creations. Once you have followed me there, come back here and leave an extra comment letting me know that you did.

That gives you up to 4 chances to win the finished Angel Tag pieces!

Remember to read daily the section on what you must do to win, as changes can and will probably be made daily over the next 12 days.

Come back tomorrow for Day 2 of 12 Days of Christmas Tags and find out who the winner is from Day 1.

Blessings,

Polaroid Pals Snowman!

Happy Weekend!!! I pray that joy has found you this Thanksgiving holiday! My family and I will be hanging ornaments on the tree tonight in preparation for the Christmas season.

I am back today with another Polaroid Pals Card from Treasure Box Designs!

This is the Polaroid Pal Snowman and I think he is just adorable!

You can find this card cut file in the "What's New" or "Christmas" section of the TBD store. To make my card, I actually combined an element from the Polaroid Pals Mouse file as well. I added the scroll at the bottom of the card to add my sentiment to. I also used a snowflake punch by Martha Stewart on the brim of the snowman's hat and added two others to the card. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom and the background DP is from My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland paper collection.

Here is what I used for today's card from the Treasure Box Designs store:

If you would like to see my finished card for the Polaroid Pals Mouse Card, you can find the blog post for it here.

Big Announcement: Be watching for the 12 Days of Christmas Tags sponsored by Treasure Box Designs that will start this Monday, Nov. 30, on my blog! There will be daily prizes and lots of inspiration for your holiday packages. I hope you will join in the fun!

Thanks for dropping by today!

Polaroid Pals Mouse!

Hey, Treasure Box Fans, look what Dina has been up to this week!!!

There is a new line of cut files called "Polaroid Card Pals at Treasure Box Designs!

I have had a chance to put one together already and will be working on the others to share in a day or two. This one is Polaroid Card Pals Mouse and it is too cute!!!

What do you think?!!!

I started out by opening the file in my DE software. I then left everything grouped and resized it all so the card base measures 5.5" in height. Leaving everything grouped allows for all the pieces to stay in proportion with the card base. I then ungrouped it all and separated it on my virtual mat in the color combos that I wanted. Once it was cut by my Cameo, I inked and chalked my pieces and then pieced them together. I finished off the inside by adding the back panel to cover up the piecing.

(Other details: Background paper is from Doodlebug Design's Sugarplums collection. The stamps are both from My Craft Spot. Unfortunately MCS is no longer in business which makes me sad every time I use one of Kimberly's stamp sets.)

I hope you will give one or all of these Polaroid Pals cards a try. Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings,

Merry Christmas, Snow Kisses! PDE Linky Party!

It's Friday and that means another Friday Linky Party has started at

where the theme is always Anything Goes!!!

And it is not just a card party - this linky party is for anything at all that you have created, so head on over there and show off your Creativity!!!

Because paper is a part of my DNA, I have another card to share with you today!

This sweet guy and his Polaroid frame are old freebies from Treasure Box Designs. You can find the Snowman and a file that includes a Polaroid frame both in the $1 section of the store.

(Update: The Snowman file is on p.3 of the TBD store and there is a file on p.4 that includes a polaroid frame. I blended a couple of files together to make the card. Go here to find them. Hope this helps those who are trying to find the files to make this cutie!!!)

I just love how my Snowman turned out!!! Snowmen are my fav!!! The card is A2 sized. The background paper, from Doodlebug Design's Sugarplums collection was cut at 4" by 4 1/4". I then took the snowman and the frame and adjusted the pieces to the sizes that would work for my card. The sentiments are from My Craft Spot and were stamped using Weathered Wood Distress Ink. The snowflake is a Martha Stewart punch and I finished it off with a red sequin.

I think he is just cute as can be and I hope you like my Snow Guy too!!!

Thank for dropping by! And don't forget to link up all your creativeness at the PDE Linky Party this week!

Blessings,

Little Turkey Gift Box!

Sometimes I see something a friend makes and I know I just want to try it as well immediately! That was the case this week when I saw my Beth's turkey box. It is just so cute, so I gave it a whirl as well. If you would like to see Beth's, you will find it here.

Here is my version of the Little Turkey Gift Box using the Bobble Buddies Turkey from Treasure Box Designs.

Like Beth, I started with a 2x2x2 Kraft Box from Annie's Paper Boutique. I covered all the sides with some Bazzill Walnut colored card stock after inking the edges of all my squares. I then cut the pieces for my turkey using various card stocks including more of the Walnut colored Bazzill card stock for the body of the turkey. Once I had him all pieced together, I added his body to the front of the box and his feathers to the back. The feathers were embossed with with my Cuttlebug using a fall embossing folder by Darice.

This could easily become a great idea for a placecard at the Thanksgiving table. All you need to do is add a cut file of a sign to the back of the turkey that shows above the feathers and write the name of all the guests on the signs. It would look super cute!

Thank you for dropping by today. I always enjoy having you stop by.

Blessings,

Let's get started with this Christmas Party!

For my project, I created two cards:

The first one is made using files from the North Pole Buddies and Night Before Christmas collections from Treasure Box Designs. This elf is a real cutie!!! The patterned papers are from Doodlebug Design's Sugarplums collection. I cut the svg banner from a freebie set from Basic Grey that I altered a bit and it is stamped with a 'Absolutely No Peeking' sentiment from My Craft Spot which unfortunately is no longer available.

The Merry Christmas reindeer card uses the newest Bobble Buddies Reindeer cut file also from Treasure Box Designs and the background paper is also from the Sugarplums collection. With the generic winter background, I could have used about any sentiment I wanted, and, for instance, made it a birthday card, Thinking of You, Just Because, and so on; but I went with the Christmas sentiment to stick with today's theme. The sentiment is also from My Craft Spot and is no longer available.

I had a lot of fun making these cards for you and I hope you are enjoying the hop!!!

For my blog candy, to one lucky FOLLOWER who leaves a COMMENT on this post, I am offering:

A free file of your choice from

Treasure Box Designs!!!

http://www.treasureboxdesigns.com/

I am also giving away this set of four Christmas tags:

These were made using a past freebie from Treasure Box Designs
(no longer available in the TBD store). They are about 5" tall and are stamped with an old set of To and From stamps that I have had forever.

(Updated 11/23/2015 - These tags have been added back to the Treasure Box Designs store. You can find them in the $1 section.)

Here is a close up of the top of the tag:

Two prizes equals two chances to win here on my blog!!! The tags will only be shipped to addresses in the USA. The free file from Treasure Box Designs is open to anyone!

Wicked!

Happy November 1st!!! I hope all of you enjoyed Halloween night! I wanted to post my last card for the Halloween season yesterday, but I just didn't get the chance. We went to a wedding yesterday that was just beautiful and the day was too full of activity to get to the computer.

So I will begin my November by finishing off my October!

I used the Little Gems Wicked and Boo-tiful You files from Treasure Box Designs:

Isn't she just adorable!!!

For the background and some of her outfit, I used some papers from Doodlebug Design. The moon was again made by shading three shades of Memento Inks. I enlarged the spider that hangs from her hat to make a second one to hang from the moon and decided to add googly eyes to him. I like how this one turned out and I so enjoyed all the October projects from last month. I hope that you did too!

Thank you, as always, for stopping in today. I always appreciate your visit!

Blessings,
