There's No Business, Like Snow Business!

Hey, everyone! Happy Tuesday to you!

This week the Die Cuttin' Diva's are doing a Snowflake Theme Challenge. And as their Guest Diva, I have this cute set to share with you!

For my Die Cuts, I have used the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies and More from My Creative Time and the Luggage Tag Dies from Jaded Blossom.

To go along with the Snowflake theme, I have used the Inkadinkado Christmas Characters stamp set. I picked this set up at Hobby Lobby for what seems like years ago and I'm excited to have finally used it. This little snowman is just adorable! 

I hope you will join the Die Cuttin' Divas team as well this week for some Snowflake fun. There are lots of sweet crafters on that Design Team and they have lots of inspiration to share.

Here's what I created:

I used the new Postage Dies with the Mini Tag Dies 2, Christmas Dies, and Winter Signs.

The background paper on the tags is from Authentique. Isn't it wonderful!!! The paper for the Christmas trees is from Theresa Collins. The cardstock is Papertrey Ink.

I also made a card that was inspired by a project I made earlier this month. See it here.

I used the Postage Dies again along with the Scenic Dies, Border Dies 2, Winter Signs, Hello Deer, and Holiday Splatters.

The cardstock is from Papertrey Ink and I used Distress Oxide Salty Ocean to blend the blue background. All the coloring was done with Copic markers.

Let's Celebrate Snowflake Card! Jaded Blossom November Release Day 5!

I have also used Card Mat Dies, Border Dies, and Winter Dies. I diecut my Large Snowflake Die and used it first as a stencil to make my background; and then because it was already pretty in blue, I was able to use it as the bottom layer of my snowflake topping. The cardstock is all Papertrey Ink and the blue ink is Distress Oxide Ink in Salty Ocean.

Winter Hello! Jaded Blossom November Release Day4!

It is Day 4 of the November Release at Jaded Blossom and there are two new stamp sets that we are sharing today - Cardinal Kisses and Fuzzy Mittens!

I have also used Scallop Caddy Die, Scenic Dies, Border Dies 2, and the new Winter Banner Dies (available Friday). The background has been colored with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink. The new Oxide Inks blend so beautifully! I enjoy using them way more than the old Distress Inks!

Christmas Panda!

There are some cute new Christmas files coming out this weekend at SVG Cutting Files and this Panda Santa Present file is one of them. I used the file to make this card. And I know it must be a cute card because my daughter has already asked me to give it to her for Christmas! She only asks me for the cute stuff and boldly tells me when she thinks it isn't! HeHe!!!

I also used Card Mat Dies, Card Layer Dies 2, Christmas Dies, and Christmas Signs from Jaded Blossom. The paper is Doodlebug Design and the cardstock is Papertrey Ink.

Merry Christmas! Jaded Blossom October Release Day 5!

It's the last sneak peeks for the October Release at Jaded Blossom. Today we are sharing one more stamp set - Holiday Origami and this month's freebie - Peppermint Candy Die!

I used the sweet Peppermint Candy Die for my card and lollipop treat!

I also used the Card Mat Dies, Rectangle Dies 1, Luggage Tag Dies, Flag Dies, the new Christmas Banner Dies, and the new Noel stamp set.

I used a sparkly vellum for the wrapper part of the Candy Die. The cardstock is Papertrey Ink and the patterned paper is Doodlebug Design.

Day 3 of Three Days with Rudolph!

This is the last edition in my mini series! And this one may be my favorite!

I have had fun with coloring and think that I may have to color an image a day for awhile. It is exciting to find an interest in something different and coloring images is something I have dabbled in but not really done a lot of. I'm liking it!

The sentiment is from a company that is out of business (sorry!) and the paper is from a retired Carta Bella collection (I'd like to talk them into rereleasing it though.).

The metal dies I used are from Jaded Blossom -
Card Mat Dies, Card Layer Dies 2, and Label Shape Dies.

Day 2 of Three Days with Rudolph!

I'm still having fun with Christmas in July projects and I'm hoping you are getting a head start on your Christmas projects too!

I struggled more with the blending this time. I think it was because I was trying too hard to get it to come out like yesterdays coloring and because I added more of the E18 on this one.

The sentiment is from a stamp company that is no longer in business and the paper is the same retired Carta Bella collection that I used for my Day 1 card.

It's time for a bit more Christmas in July!

I have had this stamp set too long to not have colored this sweet stamp!

The more I use my Copics, the easier I am finding them to use. I need to buy some better paper as I am just using Recollections brand right now. Maybe with a better paper, I'd have an easier time with the blending.

The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Holiday Gift Tags stamp set. I love the fun font on this one.

I used some fun paper for this too. It is from an older Carta Bella Christmas collection - it is a collection that I wish they'd re-release. LOL! Do you have any paper collections like that? Something that you have a hard time using your last little bit of because you know that when it is gone - IT IS GONE. I have a few!!!

I used a few metal dies on this as well that are all from Jaded Blossom -

It's Day 4 of the Jaded Blossom June Release!

We have two more stamp sets to share today - Spirit Animal and Pegasus Kisses.

I have used a sentiment from Pegasus Kisses on my card today.

I used the new Chibi Gryphon from SVG Cutting Files to make a magical creature card. I have also used Jaded Blossom's Card Mat Dies and Border Dies 2. I love the sentiment on this!

Ski Bear!

Happy 2017!

I am starting off the year with a project for SVG Cutting Files. This Friday the store will have some new winter ski files and today I am sharing Ski Bear with you.

I have also used the Abstract 1 card base. It is definitely one of my favorites!

I used Card Mat Dies, Border Dies 2, and White Christmas from Jaded Blossom and the paper is Authentique's Winter One collection.

I hope you are enjoying your winter months (well at least those of you who live in a place that it is winter right now). I know I am personally glad not to have any snow right now. I had plenty of it the three winters I spent in Ohio. LOL!

Here is my Crafter's Choice project:

I started with a Peppermint Bark Ghiradelli Chocolate Bar. Yum!!! I used the Panel Dies to make a tag stamping it with a stamp from Holiday Gift Tags. My snowman is from SVG Cutting Files' Holiday Set 1. I did modify him a bit though using the Christmas Dies. I really like how the stitching in the holly makes it pop. Once I pieced my snowman together, I added him and the tag to the front of my chocolate bar.

We are doing a Secret Santa at work, so this will probably become one of my sweet treats for that! And I may make another one to stick in my son's stocking as Peppermint Bark is his absolute favorite and he only gets it at Christmas.

Enjoy the Magic of Christmas! Jaded Blossom October Release Day 4!

It is Day 4 of Jaded Blossom Release Week and I am super excited about today's sneak peeks.

I just love the new Nutcracker stamps and Christmas Kindness is perfect for sharing fun treats with family, friends, and the next door neighbor!!! The Design Team has so many fun projects today to show both of these sets to you!

I'm using a sentiment from Nutcracker on my Nutcracker Treat Box:

I used the Jaded Blossom Scallop Caddy Die to make my treat box using kraft cardstock from Papertrey Ink. I think a good kraft cardstock is just essential in a crafter's paper supply. I covered the front of it with some beautiful paper from My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland collection after stamping the sentiment on it. I pieced together the Nutcracker using a file from Treasure Box Designs and added it using some foam squares. I just love how it turned out!!!
