Card Class at The Scrapbook Workshoppe!

I'm so excited to be teaching a card class at The Scrapbook Workshoppe in Blue Springs this Thursday August 2. If you live in the Kansas City area, we would love to have you join us!

We will be making these three cards. The one about uses stamps and dies from Taylored Expressions. I used Copics to color my images and Distress Oxide inks to make the watery background.

The last two cards are made with stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti. The images are also colored with Copics. The above card uses a Distress Oxide as well, but the one below in blended using Memento inks.

I'm very excited! There are three different class times I will be teaching. For more information, call The Scrapbook Workshoppe.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!!

Charming Friend Castle Card!

Hey, Crafty Friends. Back with my first card of the New Year.

I decided that I would try the MFT Color Challenge #84.

Here are the Challenge Colors:

I am a fan of a blue, yellow, and orange color palette, so I was excited about this one. I used the Castle dies, some free Cloud dies, and the Magical Dragons stamps from My Favorite Things.

Hoping to join in on more Color Challenges this year.

Jaded Blossom!

It's a Design Team post from Jaded Blossom.

Here's what I created:

I used the new Postage Dies with the Mini Tag Dies 2, Christmas Dies, and Winter Signs.

The background paper on the tags is from Authentique. Isn't it wonderful!!! The paper for the Christmas trees is from Theresa Collins. The cardstock is Papertrey Ink.

I also made a card that was inspired by a project I made earlier this month. See it here.

I used the Postage Dies again along with the Scenic Dies, Border Dies 2, Winter Signs, Hello Deer, and Holiday Splatters.

The cardstock is from Papertrey Ink and I used Distress Oxide Salty Ocean to blend the blue background. All the coloring was done with Copic markers.

Glad you could drop in and take a look!

Let's Celebrate Snowflake Card! Jaded Blossom November Release Day 5!

It is Day 5 of the November Release at Jaded Blossom and there is one more stamp set to share - Bubbly - and we want to show you this month's freebie - the Large Snowflake Die.

For more inspiration using both the stamp set and the freebie die,
head on over to the Jaded Blossom Blog

I have made a card using both of today's reveals:

I have also used Card Mat Dies, Border Dies, and Winter Dies. I diecut my Large Snowflake Die and used it first as a stencil to make my background; and then because it was already pretty in blue, I was able to use it as the bottom layer of my snowflake topping. The cardstock is all Papertrey Ink and the blue ink is Distress Oxide Ink in Salty Ocean.

Here is a look at the stamp set and die:

The new release will be available today at 4 pm PST. And be watching for our Release Blog Hop to start at the same time. See you tonight!

Blessings,

Winter Hello! Jaded Blossom November Release Day4!

It is Day 4 of the November Release at Jaded Blossom and there are two new stamp sets that we are sharing today - Cardinal Kisses and Fuzzy Mittens!

For more inspiration using these two stamp sets, head on over to the Jaded Blossom Blog

I have used the Cardinal Kisses to make this treat box to share!

I have also used Scallop Caddy Die, Scenic Dies, Border Dies 2, and the new Winter Banner Dies (available Friday). The background has been colored with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink. The new Oxide Inks blend so beautifully! I enjoy using them way more than the old Distress Inks!

Here is a look at the two stamp sets:

The new release will be available this Friday at 4 pm PST.

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!

Blessings,

Halloween Card!

I'm so excited to be sharing another Halloween creation with you! It is my day to post
for the Jaded Blossom Blog.

To get started, I dug through my stash to find the Jaded Blossom Halloween stamps and dies that I would use - Halloween Paint Splatters, Halloween Panels, the new Halloween Banner Dies, Happy Halloween Word Dies (the September Release Freebie), and Halloween Dies.

I started with a piece of white watercolor paper and used my brand new Distress Oxide Inks in Spiced Marmalade and Twisted Citron to make my background. (Love the new Oxide Inks way better than the old Distress Inks.) I then used my Black Soot to stamp the cracks from the Halloween Paint Splatters set and the Spider with its web from the Halloween Panels set. I then diecut the Witch's Hat, Happy Halloween words (cut and layered 3x), and the bats and then added them using various mediums. The black cardstock is all Papertrey Ink True Black.

Leave a comment letting me know which Jaded Blossom stamp or die set is your favorite for Halloween. And let me know if you have tried the new Distress Oxide Inks. Do you love them as much as I do?!!

Blessings,
