Hello!

It's Day 1 of The Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge hosted by Kathy Rac. I have a card to share with you using a digital stamp from All Dressed Up.

I used Copic markers to color her and dies from My Favorite Things and Jaded Blossom to complete my card. The background paper is from Authentique and the cardstock is from Papertrey Ink. 

I'm looking forward to sharing lots of coloring this month and should have plenty of time since school is out for summer break and I have lots of days off! Yay!

Jaded Blossom!

It's a Design Team post from Jaded Blossom.

  

Here's what I created:

I used the new Postage Dies with the Mini Tag Dies 2, Christmas Dies, and Winter Signs.

The background paper on the tags is from Authentique. Isn't it wonderful!!! The paper for the Christmas trees is from Theresa Collins. The cardstock is Papertrey Ink.

I also made a card that was inspired by a project I made earlier this month. See it here.

I used the Postage Dies again along with the Scenic Dies, Border Dies 2, Winter Signs, Hello Deer, and Holiday Splatters.

The cardstock is from Papertrey Ink and I used Distress Oxide Salty Ocean to blend the blue background. All the coloring was done with Copic markers.

I decided that I would give my hand a try at the Vintage Flowers stamp set from Altenew again. The first time I used this stamp set, I didn't do any layering of the flowers. I'm glad I did this time, as I love how my flower turned out!

Hey, it is my day to post over on the SVG Cutting Files Blog and I have a new cut file to share with you from Kawaii First Aid. These files will be available in the store this Friday.

I cut out my pieces for the bandage and pieced them together. Then I used a couple of dies from Jaded Blossom - Card Mat Dies for the background panel and Label Shape Dies for the shape behind the bandage. The sentiment is also from Jaded Blossom and is from the Simple Sayings 2 stamp set. The patterned paper is from Authentique's Latest and Greatest paper pad.

I'm loving how the bandage pops off of the blue background.

The bag is from SVG Cuts, the cardstock is by Papertrey Ink, and the patterned paper is by Authentique. I used Copics to color my dragon and Zing Embossing Powder for the sentiment.

I love line sentiments and was so excited to see a couple of them on the new So Many Birthdays 3 stamp set. I knew they would be perfect to add some great detail to a background paper. I dug through my stash and decided to use some paper from Authentique's Sweetness collection. This is perfect birthday paper!!!

Ski Bear!

Happy 2017!

I am starting off the year with a project for SVG Cutting Files. This Friday the store will have some new winter ski files and today I am sharing Ski Bear with you.

I have also used the Abstract 1 card base. It is definitely one of my favorites!

I used Card Mat Dies, Border Dies 2, and White Christmas from Jaded Blossom and the paper is Authentique's Winter One collection.

I hope you are enjoying your winter months (well at least those of you who live in a place that it is winter right now). I know I am personally glad not to have any snow right now. I had plenty of it the three winters I spent in Ohio. LOL!

Spring Flowers Mother's Day Card!

Sharing a card I put together last night for a friend. She was wanting something for her mom for Mother's Day, so on the inside I heat embossed Happy Mother's Day with the same red embossing powder used on the front for the I love you sentiment. Both sentiments are the wood block stamps from Hobby Lobby. For the flower svg I used a free file from SVG Cutting Files called Spring Flowers. I added a stamen to the center of the flower by embossing a stamp from the Dandelion stamp set from Jaded Blossom. I used two shades of blue cardstock that are just a shade or two off for the petals of the flowers and two shades of green for the leaves and stems. The background paper is from Authentique's Seasons: Summer Collection.

Baby Boy Album! 5 Days of Baby Buddies w/ Treasure Box Designs!

I am so excited to be teaming up with Treasure Box Designs again for another 5 day series of inspiration using files from the TBD store.

This time around we are sharing

Baby Buddies!!!

Today is Day 5!

I want to show you some really fun ways to use these files on cards and maybe on some other projects over the next 5 days. Baby Buddies will look awesome on baby projects for sure and some time this week I will have a project or two showing just that, but I also want to show you some other ways to use them. Today's project is a Mini Baby Album. It's something that could easily be tucked into a side pocket of a diaper bag.

Remember when I asked you the other day which of the Baby Buddies was your favorite? Well mine is the Hippo. I just think he is absolutely adorable so I am giving him the spotlight on Day 5.

The album was so easy to put together. I diecut 5 tags using a die from Jaded Blossom and used Authentique's Cuddle Boy and Seasons: Summer collections to decorate them. 

The photo mats were also made with dies from Jaded Blossom. I can't wait to be able to add some pictures of this and give it to a sweet momma who likes to show off her bundle of joy!

(Someone asked about pictures of the inside pages. I was trying to take some but was having a difficult time at it. If I am able to work something out tomorrow to get better pictures, I will update this to add them. Sorry about that!!!)

I used the Hippo from the Baby Buddies Monkey and Hippo file. Both of them are just adorable, but like I said - the hippo is my favorite!

Coffee Graffiti - Jaded Blossom March Release Day 1

It is release week on the Jaded Blossom Blog! Everyday this week, we will have sneaks of all the new Jaded Blossom goodies being released on Friday and we hope you will join us!!!

Today we are sharing projects using the new Coffee Dies, Coffee Break, and Coffee Candies.

I admit that I am not a coffee drinker, but I have many family members and friends who are and I am excited about all the possibilities that these new dies and stamps will give for gift giving! I wanted to make a gift set with a card and a treat box. 

I love this paper from Authentique and wanted my sentiments to look like graffiti on a brick wall. As for the Coffee Dies, I thought some sweet decorative cups would be nice. And I think the butterfly vellum lid looks awesome as a finishing touch. 

For the box, I used the Scallop Caddy Die. 

For my card, I wanted to try the Scallop Slider and Topper Die as a card. I started with a piece of kraft cardstock that was already scored at the center. I aligned it with the die a bit short of the top of the die and ran it through my Cuttlebug. It took a bit of work since I chose a thick cardstock, but I worked it out and had a great base. I then ran my designer paper through the Cuttlebug as well. I added the sentiment and then attached the decorative piece to the front of the base. I finished by adding my coffee cup to the front as well. 

Love how these turned out. I wish I could send each of you one!!!

Jaded Blossom February Release Blog Hop - Sweet Baby Bunny!

Hey Everyone!

Welcome to Jaded Blossom's February 2016 Release Blog Hop.

Here is what I made:

Don't you just love when Spring comes around and everything is fresh and new! Me too!!! And nothing could be better than a sweet treat in Spring to celebrate it all. You could also change the sentiment on the card and give this for a variety of occasions!

For the card, I stamped the background with the new Spring Splatters stamp set. I also die cut the top layer of the smaller bow from the new Bow Dies set as well as two tags from Mini Tag Dies 2. On one of the tags, I stamped the "What's New" sentiment from the new Hey Chickie stamp set. I then attached the tags to the bow and placed the bow on the bunny's ear. I love how the tags make the bow to look as if it has long bow tails. 

I used the same technique on the background of my treat box using the new Spring Splatters. I again die cut the small bow with the original tail from the new Bow Dies and attached it to the handle of my box. 

The Fancy Label Card Base, Scallop Trapezoid Handle Bag, and the Sweet Baby Bunny files are all from SVG Cutting Files. The background papers are from Authentique's Sweetness Collection and the grass paper is from Doodlebug Design's Springtime collection.
