Thankful for You Fall Card!

It's Wednesday and it is time for another challenge at Craftaholics R Us. This week's theme is Thank You! I went with a Thankful for You card.

I used a set of leaf stamps from Bo Bunny and stamped them onto a piece of cardstock from Papertrey Ink that was diecut with a Stitched Rectangle die from Jaded Blossom. I used the same cardstock for my card base and attached a piece of patterned paper from Doodlebug Design. The Thankful for You stamp is from Jaded Blossom as well.

Halloween Challenge - Craftaholics R Us #39!

It's my turn to post for the Craftaholics R Us Challenge!

This week's theme is Halloween!

I used an SVG cut file from Doodlebug Design that I purchased from the Lori Whitlock store. This little ghost is just too cute!!!

For the inside, I cut a piece of Papertrey Ink's Green Parakeet cardstock using Jaded Blossom's Card Mat Dies and then stamped a Happy Halloween sentiment from an old Scrappy Moms stamp set.

I decided that I would give my hand a try at the Vintage Flowers stamp set from Altenew again. The first time I used this stamp set, I didn't do any layering of the flowers. I'm glad I did this time, as I love how my flower turned out!

Hope You Score Big This Year! Craftaholics R Us Challenge #33 - Sports!

It's time for another Challenge Week at Craftaholics R Us Challenge Blog!

This week's theme is Sports!

Soccer season is just starting up for one of my boys, so I decided to make him a card that I could give him on the day of his first game.

I used Stamper's Select White and Blueberry Sky Cardstock from Papertrey Ink. The Blueberry Sky just about matches his team color. I used Spring Dies 1 (Version 2), Card Mat Dies, Sports Dies, and Go Team Stamp Set from Jaded Blossom. And for the background, I used the My Favorite Things Cloud Stencil that I just can't seem to use enough. So easy to use and makes a perfect sky scene.

Mermaid Birthday! Craftaholics R Us Challenge #32!

It is time for another Craftaholics R Us Challenge Wednesday Challenge!

This week's theme is Ocean Life!

And, well, I think Mermaids are out there in the ocean somewhere, right!!! ;)

I used Jaded Blossom's Mermaid Kisses, So Many Birthdays 3, and the Luggage Tag Die. I colored the mermaid and the background using Copic Markers go make my gift tag.

In fact, the background was my first ever attempt at coloring a background. I had stamped her on white cardstock and after attaching the top layer of the tag to the bottom blue layer, I decided that her background just didn't look good in white. So I watched a couple of YouTube videos and grabbed my BG11 and B00 Copic Markers and gave it a try. And I'm so glad it worked, because I would have been sad if the image had been ruined after all the work coloring it.

Pirates! Challenge #31 - Craftaholics R Us!

It's Challenge time over at Craftaholics R Us Challenge Blog.

Challenge #31 Theme: Pirates

Used an Svg File from Cre8tive Cutz. Wasn't the easiest to put together down around the bottom of the boat, but I managed to get it put together without too much trouble. And I think it turned out super cute!!!

The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's United States Map stamp set. The skull and crossbone file that I used for the flag is from Miss Kate Cuttables. The black twine is Trendy Twine from Annie's Paper Boutique.

The fun paper is the Echo Park Pirates collection. I also used some of the stickers from this collection to decorate the sides of the pirate ship.

Just Saying Hello! Craftaholics R Us Challenge #30 - Diecuts!

Excited to announce that I have joined the Craftaholics R Us Challenge Blog 

for the next few months.

Today begins a new challenge with the theme: #30 Diecuts

This one was easy with all my Jaded Blossom Dies. I used the Scallop Rectangle Dies 1, Rectangles Dies 1, Scallop Circle Dies, Stitched Circle Dies, and Tropical Dies 2. The sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom Happy Hello stamp set.

I used patterned paper from Doodlebug Design and cardstock from Papertrey Ink and Bazzill.
