FB Page Giveaway!

Giveaway time on my FB page!

I am giving this card away to one lucky follower on my FB page when I reach 500 likes. I just have 85 to go. Stop over there and see how you can win!

This is a 5x5 square card on a white card base that is 110# weight cardstock. The design paper is from a Recollections 6x6 paper pad. The bear paper piecing is a file from My Scrap Chick. All the cardstock for the paper piecing is AC cardstock or Tim Holtz Coordination Cardstock. I use inks, chalks, and a gel pen to add dimension. The piecing is attached to the card using foam squares. I would be happy to add a sentiment to the front or inside of the card if the winner of the card should request and I have a stamp that that person would like.

Blessings,

Happy Hello Penguin!

I grew up with three brothers and that was awesome. They were really good to me and always took care of me. But I have to say that when I came to know Christ something happened that changed my life forever. I gained a whole bunch of sisters. And as any of you with sisters know, there is nothing like having a sister! I made this card for one of my sisters. She is very dear to me and I enjoy the time we are able to spend together. I made this as a Thank You for her for the time we spent out together this last Friday night having dinner and quiet time from family and the burdens of life. This sister is a treasured jewel and I am so lucky to have her.

This little guy is from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. He was a freebie a few weeks back called Penguin on Ice. I think he is absolutely adorable and I was glad to see the smile on my sister's face when I gave him to her this morning during worship.

Thank you, Tricia, at LSHD for all the Monday freebies. They are truly appreciated and thank you for allowing me to enter him into yesterday's game to win another free file!!!

The card is a standard A2 size and the background paper which is quite lovely in person but a bit difficult to photograph is from Bo Bunny's Snowfall collection called Snowfall Drift. The stamp is from Verve Stamps Happy Hello collection.

Thank you for dropping in today. You can find the links to my Facebook and Pinterest pages on the top right if you'd like to follow me there as well.

Blessings,

My Love!

My hubby was sadly away for Valentine's Day, but has since returned home. We have been married 12 years and I love him more every day! He is the pillar of our family. I truly appreciate all he does for me and our precious kiddos.

Using the Dancing Couple Bears from My Scrap Chick, I made him this card.

I am willingly dancing my life away with this man!

Don't you just want to shout for joy when a background paper says just what you want and makes it easy to put a card together. Well that was just my luck with this card. I started with an A2 size card base. I added the background paper by Reminisce called My Love. I then attached my paper piecing right in the center of the card and that's all it took. The Valentine Bears cut files and digis from My Scrap Chick are just the cutest. And they can be used for so many different occasions besides Valentine's Day. The card I am showing today could be easily used as a Anniversary card, Congratulations for Engagements or Weddings, etc. Head on over there and check them out.

Thank you, as always, for visiting me today. I truly appreciate it!

You can also find me on Facebook and Pinterest. I invite to follow me on either site! And with Easter coming, keep in mind that I do custom orders. I would be happy to help you with your Easter treats and cards. It's easiest to contact me through Facebook or my Etsy store.

Love You, Tiger!

The last card for my kiddos for Valentine's Day. This one is for my youngest son, my second born. He is into everything, so I decided to just go ahead and make one more of the Cute Valentine Animals from Miss Kate Cuttables.

This time it is the Tiger.

As with the other two cards, this one is also A2 size and the background paper is from Recollections Valentine 6x6 paper pad. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom.

I enjoyed making all these projects this week using these cute animals. I hope you have enjoyed them. Thank you for stopping in again. I invite you to visit my Facebook and Pinterest pages as well. And with Easter coming, keep in mind that I do custom orders. I would be happy to help you with your Easter treats and cards. It's easiest to contact me through Facebook or my Etsy store.

Hippo Love!

Yesterday, I shared the card that I made for my sweet princess, and today I am going to share the Valentine card that I made for my oldest. His favorite color is purple...

...so I made him this cute purple hippo using this file from Miss Kate Cuttables. I modified the layers a bit. The card is A2 size. The background paper is from the Recollections Valentine 6x6 pad. I used various cardstocks for my piecing. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom.

Thank you for stopping in today. You can also find me on Facebook and Pinterest. And with Easter coming, keep in mind that I do custom orders. I would be happy to help you with your Easter treats and cards. It's easiest to contact me through Facebook or my Etsy store.

One more kiddo, so one more card tomorrow. Then later in the week I will share with you the card I made for my hubby.

Blessings,

Bee Mine!

Still sharing some Valentine goodies that I made for my family.

I made some cards for my kiddos using files from Miss Kate Cuttables. This one was for my daughter. She squealed when she opened it.

I used the Bee Mine title and bee files. The card is an A2 size. The design paper is from Recollections Valentine paper pad.

Thank you for dropping in. You can also find me on Facebook and Pinterest. And with Easter coming, keep in mind that I do custom orders. I would be happy to help you with your Easter treats and cards. It's easiest to contact me through Facebook or my Etsy store.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
And come back Monday and Tuesday to see the cards I made for my boys.

Happy Valentine's Day!

All of the Trendy Gals from Trendy Twine hope that you have a very

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

This year we've done something a bit different as we celebrate this fun day -- Secret Cupid! We were each given a name of one of our sweet design team sisters by our fearless leader, Lesley Ann. We then made a card or a tag and sent it along with some kind of special treat to bring a bit of joy to our mailboxes this Valentine's. And today we are going to share with you all of these very special creations. We hope you enjoy them.

I was honored to create something for my sweet DT sister, Kimberly.

I made a card with a matching gift box.

The card was made using a sketch I found on Pinterest. I used a cut file from My Scrap Chick called Girlfriend Valentine Bear, papers mostly from the Recollections 6x6 Valentine paper pad along with a piece from my scrap bin, and, of course, some delicious Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine.

The gift box is a cut file from SVG Cuts freebie page. It is called the Octagonal Heart Box. I also used the Recollection papers and various cardstock. The stamp is from My Creative Time and reads "To a Beary Special Friend." And I finished it with a touch of Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine
under my flower.

I added some goodies to the gift box; and as I packed up my shipping box, I also put in an embossing folder. I really enjoyed the Secret Cupid fun.

I also want to send a big Thank You!!! to Sukie for sending me some joy to my mailbox. Stop by her blog to see what she sent me and, of course, stop by the Trendy Twine blog to see what all of my DT sisters have to share with you today!!!

Thanks for stopping by. It is always a joy to have you here. I invite you to visit my Facebook and Pinterest pages as well.

Blessings,

Valentine Cards

I'm sure you know how it goes. When you make things with paper, the store bought stuff just doesn't have the appeal for your kiddos anymore. And since it is Valentine's Day tomorrow, my kiddos wanted homemade Valentine's for their class parties today. This momma made 40 cards between the two still in elementary school. And yes, true to my procrastination state of mind, I stayed up most of the night finishing them last night. No worries, I still worked out today and took a short nap. LOL!!!

(Warning: This post is picture heavy! They were all too cute not to show them off.)

The light grey kitty, the bunny, and the polar bear were for my daughter. She couldn't decide which one she liked the most, so I had to make all three. There was also a pig and tiger that she wanted, but I talked her down to three.

The lion and dark grey kitty were for my son. He had to have lions for the boys and kitties for the girls. Too funny how important it was for him that the boys just say Hello,
but the girl's could say Be Mine.

Here is a close-up of a couple of them:

The cut files are from Miss Kate Cuttables. They can be purchased as an SVG on their site (and cost less too) or you can purchase them from the Silhouette store.

The stamps I used are from Jaded Blossom (Be Mine) and My Craft Spot (Hello). I used inks, chalks, and my white gel pen to add all the details.

Thanks for stopping by today. Remember that St. Patrick's Day and Easter are around the corner and I do custom orders. If you have any needs for the upcoming holidays, please contact me. Also, I invite you to follow me on my Facebook and Pinterest as well so that you can keep up with
all of my creations.

Have a happy crafty three day weekend!!!

Blessings,

Guest Designing for Die Cuttin' Divas - Simple Mason Jar Valentine Decor!!!

I'm excited to be guest designing again this week with the divas at

This week's theme is a Picture Challenge.

Valentine's Day is only a few days away. Are you looking for a fun and easy way to add a bit of decoration to your table?!

How about the simple mason jar!!! Die cut a heart and add a "Love" sentiment. Tie a bit of twine around the top and add a candle. It is very easy, but adds a sweet touch to any table décor.

I used my jars to decorate the tables at a Ladies Luncheon that I hosted on Sunday. I laid the jars on some paper doilies, surrounded them with smaller die cut hearts and some chocolates, and the tables looked wonderful. And the best thing is that it did not break the bank.

The hearts in this project are cut files from KaDoodle Bug Designs Turtley Digging You set. I cut them out with my Cameo. And the delicious Cherry Cupcake twine is from Trendy Twine. The Love is Sweet sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Simple Sayings Valentine Edition stamp set.

I hope you will give this simple project a try.

Now it is your turn - stop by Die Cuttin' Divas and share your challenge projects on their blog. Here is the photo for the challenge:

Thank you for stopping in today. You can also find all my crafty creations on Facebook and Pinterest as well.
