2015 Year In Review!

Happy New Year's Eve!

I'm so excited to have shared another year with all of you! During 2015, I have seen some incredibly inspiring projects by so many of you and I have had a good time hanging out at my craft table as well!!!

As the year is winding down, I am wanting to share a year in review. Here are some of my favorite projects of 2015. I will be looking around today to see if some of you have shared your year too!

I have some exciting things coming up in 2016! One big thing will be another major move. My hubby is going to make a career change. That means we will be headed home. Just don't know yet if it will be my home in Kansas City or his home in Dallas. Stay tuned. I also have an exciting announcement coming this weekend. Be watching for that!

Again, Happy New Year's Eve!!! Enjoy your night; but, please, stay safe!

I hope the best for you in 2016!

Blessings,

Gift Card Pals Snowman

On Christmas Day, I shared the Gift Card Pals Santa, so today I want to share with you the other gift card holder that comes in the Gift Card Pals file. This is the snowman and the file is from Treasure Box Designs. This gift card holder works perfect for birthdays and other occasions over the next couple of months of winter.

This snowman or snowgirl, I'm thinking, is just adorable. Her hat reminds me of the 1930's. The snowflake is a punch from Martha Stewart. The circle die is from Jaded Blossom's Mini Tag Dies 2 and the sentiment is from JB's Simple Sayings stamp set.

Stay warm as it is cold outside!!!

Thank you for coming by!

Blessings,

Racing My Wheels Birthday Card

Here is a great card for all your Hot Wheels or Fast and Furious fans.

I'm using the Racing My Wheels file from

The background paper is from My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline Dilly Dally collection.

The Happy Birthday sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Simple Sayings set and is stamped onto their Mini Tags Dies 2 set. I added a couple of brads on both sides of the tag to add more detail.

The card measures 5 14" wide and 3 1/4" high.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look!

Blessings,

Santa Gift Card Holder! And a Very Merry Christmas to You!

Merry Christmas!!!

It has been a nice holiday! Spent the day yesterday with some dear friends and today it was just me, the hubby, and the kiddos. We spent the day in pajamas and played with all the fun new things we received. We also took the time to reflect on why we as a family celebrate Christmas and gave thanks for the best gift we've ever received - a baby in a manger, Jesus!

We also like the make believe of the season. And we laugh and play and dream of Santa coming in his sleigh. So today I have a Santa to share with you. This is a gift card holder from Treasure Box Designs called Gift Card Pals Christmas.

What a super fun way to wrap up those gift cards. The set also comes with a snowman.

Here it is opened up and this time holding a Pat Catan's card which is a local craft store near my home. It is my go to place for shopping for crafts as it is only a few blocks (I can walk there if I need to it is so close).

I just used black, white, and red cardstock on this . I added dimension by using foam tape on the hands, mustache and nose, and the ball at the top of his hat. I used chalks, a black sharpie, and a white gel pen to draw in the features. And, of course, I used inks to ink the edge of each individual piece before putting it together.

Hope you enjoy this project. I may have a thing or two to still share before the year ends.

Again, Merry Christmas!!!

Blessings,

To Warm Your Heart and Home!

Happy Tuesday! Are you all ready for Christmas! I'm actually done shopping. I know what you are thinking - No big deal, it is only a few days before Christmas. But let me tell you, I am known for my Christmas Eve shopping trips. LOL!!!

I have a really cute card for you today. Dina has made this really cute Home series of files that are fun winter/holiday characters. There is an elf, a penguin, a Santa, and a ginger; and there is also this snowman file that is just too cute in my opinion. I have told you all before that I love snowman, right!!! They are definitely my favorite!!!

This is the Treasure Box Designs' Snowed In file! The trees are from the Treasure Box Designs' White Days of Winter file. I pulled out a piece of paper from my scraps for the background. Don't recall the collection it came from. The snowflakes are a Martha Stewart punch. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Christmas Wishes stamp set and is stamped onto a die cut that is also from Jaded Blossom from the Mini Tag Dies 2 set.

Thank you for stopping by! See you soon!

Blessings,
