Super Bowl Fun

As you know, we have daily inspiration over at

Action Wobble

and today is my day to share with all of you! So excited!!!

The Super Bowl is this Sunday and we are gearing up!

Are you having a party? Are you inviting your friends over in their favorite teams gear?
Well I have an invitation idea for you!

You can dress the card up to represent your favorite team or as your pick for this weekend's winner! Dallas happens to be my husband's favorite team, bless his heart!

You can pick this cut file up from SVG Cutting Files here. (Unfortunately, the team logos are not included.) The die for the sentiment banner is from the Spellbinders Nested Pennants. The sentiment is from a Clear Stamps pack by The Paper Studio. The cardstock is American Crafts, Papertrey Ink, and some pieces from a local paper warehouse.

And of course, the Action Wobble that brings that extra touch to an already fun card.

If you do not have any Action Wobbles of your own, you can pick them up at the Royal Shoppe . You will not regret it! They really are super fun!

Are you already using Action Wobbles? Well we want to see those projects. Share them on the Action Wobble Facebook page or become a follower of the Action Wobble blog and join in on the bi-weekly challenges!

So here are some other ideas for how you can use this card - how about a birthday invitation or your son's next party or even your husbands, a thank you or thinking about you card for your favorite sports fan, a Father's Day card for your football obsessed father, shrink them down and make small Valentine's cards with a sucker attached for your child's class or do the same as a treat for your son's football team, make it a tag instead of a card for a football themed gift, and on an on and on. Share some ways in the comments that you think you would use the file.

Thanks for stopping by and please, before you leave, click on the Follower button. I will return the favor and stop by your blog as well and become your follower (you will need to leave a comment though so that I will have a link back to your blog). And as a bonus, when I get to 100 followers, I will be choosing one person to send a bit of blog candy to.

Blessings,

Valentine Fox!

I am very excited to announce that today I am joining the design team at

http://simplycreatetoo.blogspot.com/

I want to say a huge thanks to Diane, Mian, and the rest of the DT. I am so excited to be crafting along side all of you!!!

So what is happening over at

Simply Create Too

It is mid-challenge inspiration time. Our challenges run for two weeks; and today we want to share a little something with you to get you inspired to link up another one of your creative masterpieces as we go into week 2 ofChallenge #53.

Well I couldn't help but to want to make this 3D cut file from SVG Cuts.

This is the Valentine House from the Hugs and Kisses SVG kit.

For this project I turned to My Mind's Eye for my DP choices (Lost and Found Record It: Heirloom) and I used cardstock from American Crafts. The vellum used for the windows is from Papertrey Ink. I added a jewel for the doorknob and some pearls to the roof. I cut my pieces for the project using my Sizzix Eclips. The finished gift box stands 9" tall and can be filled with treats; or it can be used with an LED tea light to light up the mantle or as an enchanting centerpiece.

I will enter this into the following challenges:
CRAFTITUDE: #57 Anything Goes

Winter Blues

I thank God for another Sunday and another chance to worship Him!

(Blog Candy Winner for the Party Time post can be found here.)

I'm creating something for you again this week at

613 Avenue Create

This week's theme is Anything Goes w/ the optional twist of
"Winter Blues."

This week the cut files for my cards come from My Scrap Chick. The file is called Gift Card Holders for Christmas (there is an option in the file for making a standard card). The tag is from the Fall Tree Gift Tag set and, of course, I only used one layer of the tag and sized it for my needs.

And this card does make a super cute greeting for Christmas!!!

But Snowmen are not just for Christmas. They are everything winter!!!

After whipping up several of these in an afternoon, I went through my stamp sets and found several sentiments that would work for all my winter occasions. Today I am sharing three of those options with you.

You could make up a bunch of these yourself and wait to add the tags until you know what you need to use them for.

The stamps I used today are from Verve Stamps and Jaded Blossom. I hope you will look up both of these stores online and check out their wonderful assortments.

The crochet thread/twine was found at a local store. I just wrapped it around the base of each card 5x and used it to attach the tag.

I hope you have enjoyed today's project.

(I have 5 of these cards for sale. They are $3.50 each plus shipping and handling. Please email me if you are interested. I will be glad to attach a tag that works for your occasion.)

I will be entering this project into the following challenges:

Sister Act: #40 Cards Only!
Creative Fingers: #20 Anything Goes
Brown Sugar: #77 Anything Goes
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge: Shades of Blue
Make It Monday #175: Anything Goes
Crafting By Design: Anything Goes
Crafty Hands: #6 Put a Tag On It
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Extra: January
2 Creative Chicks: #10 Anything Goes

Blessings,

Love You I Do

Today is the day! My first post for

Action Wobble!

Thank you to The Scrapbooking Queen, Sherri, and all the DT members for the warm welcome. I am so excited to finally be sharing my first project.

These wobbles are oh so simple to use and bring so much fun to a variety of projects.

This Yoda card is going to be a hit with my son on Valentine's Day. Both of my boys have always enjoyed Star Wars!

Yoda getting his Wobble on!

I have always been a sucker for a Bobblehead and now I get to make Wobbleheads instead!

This was so easy to do. After resizing for my needs and cutting out my pieces, I took the black shadow layer and cut off the head. LOL! That sounds horrible. I layered all my pieces and of course ended up with the body and head of Yoda. I positioned the body first with a small piece of tape to hold it in place. And then I attached the head to the Action Wobble. There are instructions on each individual wobble to help you place them right (told you they were simple!). After placing the head, I examined the body to see if I would still have enough room under the head to pop dot the body. I did not want to mess up the action, but I have a hard time making cards without pop dots. I really like the dimension they bring. And I am so excited to report that the wobble left plenty of room!

And of course once Yoda was attached and complete, I added some embellishments and a sentiment to finish off the card.

So where can you get your Action Wobbles?

Stop by the Royal Shoppe and pick them up today.

And if you would like to join in our Action Wobble challenge, you will find it here.

Party Time!

So excited for another challenge at

613 Avenue Create!

It's our Blogaversary and we are Celebrating!!!

This weeks challenge: Anything Goes with a Party Time twist!

In life there are so many things to celebrate -
birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, the birth of a precious baby ...

Next month we have a day to celebrate the ones we love. I hope you don't wait for Valentine's Day to show others in your life how much they mean to you. But it never hurts to use this day to give a little something special!!! My files this week are sponsored by
I hope all of you will stop by there and see all of the great cut files and digital files that Regina offers.

Now for my project:

So glad that I was recently invited to join the DT at 613 Avenue Create. I have driven in and unpacked. It already feels like home! This great gift box comes from the Funny Car Gift Box and Shaped Card kit. For my car, I used some kraft cardstock to form the gift box. The cardstock used to decorate it is Amercican Crafts and a couple of scraps from my stash. The design paper is My Mind's Eye. It is the Lost & Found Record It - Heirloom 6x6 paper pad. It is a fabulous set of papers, full of great colors and designs. Definitely perfect for all your Valentine papercrafting needs! (Another great way to use this box would be if you are giving your child a car for their Sweet 16. You could decorate it and stick the keys in the box. I also found a digi stamp the other day that would be perfect for this box. It read - I wheely like you.)

But cars are not the only thing one might find in a neighborhood. I personally cannot imagine a neighborhood without a wagon! Can you?! This wagon is from the Little Red Wagon Gift Set. Again the cardstock used is American Crafts and some others from my scrap bin. The kraft cardstock used to make the wood pieces on the side were run through my Cuttlebug with a wood grain folder made by Darice (bought at my local Pat Catan's). I used Memento and Color Box inks for all the inking. I really like how the inking on the wood grain made it pop. Well wagons are used for pulling around lots of good things. Little boys pull their dogs, little girls pull around their dolls, dads pull around their children ...

But what does a crafter pull around? Well crafting supplies of course!

And might you be wondering what my special little package is holding?!

Oh, I just think these little boxes that came with the Little Red Wagon Gift Set are adorable. The Trendy Twine used to wrap my packages is called Valentine Cherry Cupcake and it is truly delicious. The love stamp is a Cuttlebug embossing/die set called Celebration Stamps. I have had it forever and so glad I have finally used it for the first time. There are four stamps in the set.

Well my little box is carrying a sweet crafty treat for one of you! That's right. I'm giving a little blog candy away as we celebrate this week! And this is all you have to do to win - become a follower here on my blog and leave me a comment on this post and you will be entered to win. I will draw a name from all the entries next Saturday night and will announce the winner Sunday in my next DT post for 613 Avenue Create.
(The winner will have two weeks to claim their prize.)

I also have a FB page that I would like for you to check out and follow me there. Just click the Like button at M. Miranda Creations

I know, I know, I still haven't told you what the crafty treat is!

I thought I would share a My Mind's Eye paper pack like the one I used in my project as well as a bit of the Trendy Twine. Hope you will enter to win.

The best thing about getting some new followers will be that if I reach 100, I have another blog candy giveaway posted at the top of my blog in the right side column. This is a surprise blog candy. I will draw a name from all the followers when I reach 100 and make a post for my winner.
(Again the winner will have two weeks to claim the prize.)

613 Avenue Create and Winter Time!

So excited to be announcing that I have joined the girls
in the neighborhood at

613 Avenue Create!

Thank you, Chana and Kathi, for the invitation; and a huge thank you to the DT for such a warm welcome.

Well it is Winter Time and at my house there is several inches of snow on the ground with more on the way, so let's put on our slippers and snuggle up with a warm blanket. The theme for this challenge is

Anything Goes w/ an optional twist - The Colors, Sights and Sounds of Winter.

And what would winter be without a Snowman.

I don't know about you, but I received some wonderful gifts for Christmas! Some of those gifts could use a nice Thank You. So how about giving this Snowman Gift Box filled with chocolates or another little treat to that someone special who made your Christmas so merry & bright!

The box comes from SVG Cut's Christmas Open House kit and stands 6" tall. The cardstock used for this project is both Papertrey Ink and American Craft. The DP that makes up the band around the hat is Authentique - Seasons. All the embellishments were things I dug out of my stash.

Please stop by 613 Avenue Create to see the rest of the Design Team's inspiration and to link up your card.

Thanks for dropping by! But before you leave, please become a follower. I am giving away some blog candy when I reach 100 followers. See the top right side of my blog for more details.
