Girlfriend Valentine Bear Treat Box - PDE Guest Designer

Exciting day today as I am guest designing for

Janis, over at PDE, has a great linky party that runs weekly starting on Tuesdays. She and her DT also have plenty of creative inspiration. Hope you will check it out.

This week's theme is 3D Projects.

I used a couple of files from My Scrap Chick to make this fun treat box for Valentine's Day.

I started with the Pour Box. This has to be one of my all time favorites! I love that it reminds me of making Tapioca Pudding and Malt -O-Meal with my brothers when we were kids. What is your favorite thing you make in the kitchen that comes from a pour box. Well I am sure whoever receives this will be excited to pour our some little candies from it.

Once I assembled the box, I cut out my Girlfriend Valentine Bear. Great thing about this SVG file is that it also comes with a 300dpi images in both color and black and white for your digi and print n cut needs. I think she is absolutely adorable and very easy to piece together!

The white scalloped oval that she is layered on is a Spellbinders die and the patterned paper is from Doodlebug Designs. The cardstock is from various companies.

So glad you stopped by today. I always enjoy reading your comments. And, of course, you are always invited to follow me on my Facebook and Pinterest pages as well.

Blessings,

Crafting Inspiation Day 7 - Love Bird Gift Box

This week Trendy Twine joined together with Fleurette Bloom to showcase some crafty fun from both Design Teams. I hope you have enjoyed everyone's projects so far! I am excited to be finishing up the week with this Valentine box using two SVG patterns from Fleurette's store and, of course, some awesome Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine
I adore the Love Birds card from the Valentine Be Mine 3D SVG kit; so I decided to use some elements from it and a box from the Nesting Gift Box kit to make this special box for my Love Bird on Valentine's Day.
I used an embossing folder to add some dimension and background to my
birdies that I think is really fun. But my favorite part of this box has to be the red and pink layers against the black box; especially the Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine that I wrapped around the sides and tied with a bow to attach my sentiment. The tag and sentiment are from My Craft Spot.
Well as far as I know, when two companies team up to share some crafting inspiration, there is always some Blog Candy and this is no exception.
Here are the details for winning:
Our Crafting inspiration party runs Sunday, January 11 through Saturday, January 17 (today). You will need to comment on both the  Trendy Twine blog and the Fleurette Bloom blog each day for a chance to be entered. Deadline to enter is 10:00 p.m. Central Time, Sunday, January 18.  You must also be a follower of both blogs to be eligible to win.
One person will win both of these gift certificates.
Good luck!

"I'm Bananas for You"!

Happy Saturday! Today I am sharing a project with you for

This month we are showcasing the Valentine Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine

A cute monkey and fun sentiment mixed with a sweet color of Trendy Twine = One fun Valentine for by sweet baby girl or maybe my hubby. Have you guys figured out that I love to make things for my family. I enjoy the smile I get back every time! For my project, I started out with a sheet of paper from K & Company and cut out my gift bag. I added a heart doily and the super cute monkey. I had to give the monkey a Trendy Twine bow! I added my sentiment, "I'm Banana's for you!" and finished it off with a bit of ribbon and another pinch of Trendy Twine.

Well with a sentiment like that, I had to fill up my candy chute with some bananas, right!!! I finished off the chute by wrapping it several times with the Valentine Cherry Cupcake Twine and added a matching tag and sentiment, tying it off with a bow.

Here are the products I used from Trendy Twine:

Congratulations on Retiring 2.0!

Here is another card I made for my friend's family member who is retiring.

The cut file is from Treasure Box Designs. The background paper is from my scrap bin so I don't remember where it is from. Sorry about that. I used a Spellbinders die for the sentiment banner. And the twine is Trendy Twine - Strawberry Cupcake.

Thanks for stopping in today.

Blessings,

Congratulations on Retiring!

I had a friend ask me the other day to make her a card for a family member who is retiring from the nursing profession. And, of course, I made her one.

So today I am sharing a Design Team card using a cute file from

The bear comes from the Halloween Costume Bears set. These are some really cute bears!

I used a piece of Recollections 110 lb. cardstock for my base. The DP is from Echo Park's Sweet Day collection. On the polka dot strip of paper, I used a Martha Stewart punch. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Simple Sayings stamp set. I really like the font on this set!

Thanks for stopping in to take a look. I truly appreciate it!

I invite you to follow me on my Facebook and Pinterest pages as well.
