SVG Attic Guest Designer - Baby Boy Gift Box

I'm excited to be Guest Designing again today for SVG Attic!

I am still in the baby mood!!! Sssh! I have a baby shower to help plan soon, so it is on my mind!!!

For this fun gift box, I used the Cottontail Bunny Kit and the Baby Boy Kit.

I really like to watch little boys when they are fascinated by a plane, train, or automobile. If fact, some cute little plastic transportation toys might be the perfect thing to stuff in this box. It would also be the perfect size for some socks or onesies to give you a few ideas. The finished box is 5" W x 3.5" H x 1.75" L (deep). I used Canvas Corp's Blue and Ivory Dot cardstock. To close the top of the box I used some Totally Natural Trendy Twine. I added a tag from My Craft Spot's Tiny Tags stamp set.

Thank you for dropping in today and I hope you will stop by the SVG Attic store to see all the fun SVG collections they have for you there.

Blessings,

"I'm Bananas for You"!

Happy Saturday! Today I am sharing a project with you for

This month we are showcasing the Valentine Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine

A cute monkey and fun sentiment mixed with a sweet color of Trendy Twine = One fun Valentine for by sweet baby girl or maybe my hubby. Have you guys figured out that I love to make things for my family. I enjoy the smile I get back every time! For my project, I started out with a sheet of paper from K & Company and cut out my gift bag. I added a heart doily and the super cute monkey. I had to give the monkey a Trendy Twine bow! I added my sentiment, "I'm Banana's for you!" and finished it off with a bit of ribbon and another pinch of Trendy Twine.

Well with a sentiment like that, I had to fill up my candy chute with some bananas, right!!! I finished off the chute by wrapping it several times with the Valentine Cherry Cupcake Twine and added a matching tag and sentiment, tying it off with a bow.

Here are the products I used from Trendy Twine:

School's Out!

Wow, it has been a few weeks. My die-cutting machine went on the permanently injured list and I had to get something new. Got a Cameo this time. This is the 2nd project I have cut with it and I am enjoying it!

Today I have a Design Team project for My Scrap Chick.

The end of the school year is looming on the horizon and I thought it would be good to get started on some cards that the boys could give to their teachers at the end of the year to say Thank You.

I used two sets of cut files from the My Scrap Chick store to make this card:

Other Supplies Used:
Echo Park paper: Everyday Eclectic
Canvas Corp: Chalkstock
My Craft Spot: Big Sentiments 2
Trendy Twine: Twisted Lime
Graphic 45: Stamp from the ABC Primer collection
Tim Holtz: Distress Crackle Paint/Clear Rock Candy
Papertrey Ink: Fresh Snow ink
Buttons and Gems from My Stash

It is hard to see the Clear Rock Candy Crackle Paint on the apple in the photo, but it does add a really nice touch to the card. And I really like the effect of the white ink on the chalkstock. I think that when I make the next one, I will use a colored ink to make it look like colored chalk. Another fun idea would be to use sequins in place of the buttons and gems.

Thanks for stopping by! I am so glad you are here! Check back tomorrow for another DT post.

Blessings,
