I want to share this card with you today using cut files from My Scrap Chick that celebrates this great Irish holiday!

One of my teammates from the My Scrap Chick DT had made this great card for Valentine's Day earlier this year and her card has inspired this one. Thanks, Kristen!

Wobbling Truffala Tree!

It is my Action Wobble Tuesday!

The other day SVG Cutting Files was giving away some free Dr. Seuss files on their FB Galleria and you know I was jumping on that. Super cute. (Unfortunately these files were only available for one day. But I would suggest joining the group as there is constant free files shared in the gallery and in regular blog hops. Thank you, Anne!)

Well one of the DT members was showing off her Lorax card as he hung out underneath his Truffala Tree and I was smitten!

Well, of course, I had to make one of my own (after getting permission to do a bit of scraplifting). I knew when I saw Trixie's card that that Truffala Tree needed an Action Wobble and I was right.

How cute is the Lorax and the tree wobbles!

For the card, I used We R Memory Keepers Simply Spring paper. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Simple Sayings stamp set and it is stamped onto a Spellbinders Wonky Squares die. And I added some buttons from my stash to the background to add more dimension.

Thanks for coming by!!!

If you would like some Action Wobbles of your own, you can pick them up at the Royal Shoppe .

If you use Action Wobbles already, we would like it if you would Like the Action Wobble Facebook page and share your Wobble projects with us.

Don't forget the challenges on the blog as well.

Please know that I would be honored if you would become a follower of my blog. If you do so and leave a comment letting me know, I will return the favor by stopping by your blog and becoming a follower as well.

Have a Happy, Crafty, Wobbly kind of day!

Blessings,

For My Daughter - Be Mine

Oh, she will always Be Mine!!!

My daughter is five and we spend our days together while her brothers are off at school and dad is at work. Not too long ago she chopped off some of the front of her hair. We asked her why she had done it and she replied that she wanted to be like her mommy. Downstairs I have a craft room and next to my table sits her miniature table. And every time we go to the craft store to get supplies, she needs her own. When I am in the kitchen cooking, she is standing at her miniature kitchen set and she is cooking too. And that is only the beginning! Yes, she is mine and she will always Be Mine!!!

Like most little girls, she loves pink. So, for her box, I used a lot of pink!

This box is the last one I made using the Love Me Do kit from SVG Cuts this year. I have enjoyed making these heart boxes!!! I also used the 3D flower from the Happy Birthday to You kit.

The paper is MME Lost and Found Record It Heirloom. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Valentine Treats stamp set.

I'm glad you stopped by!

But before you leave, I hope you will become my newest friend on my blog. Just hit the follower button on the top right. Be sure to leave me a comment letting me know that you did, and I will return the favor.

I'm Bananas for You! And Some Exciting News!

So Friday was Valentine's Day as you know; and true to my nature, I was making last minute gifts for my kids to give to them when they arrived home from school. I thought I would go ahead and share two of them with you (the ones for my boys) on this post and I will make a separate post for my daughter's gift.

But before I share my photos, first I must tell you my Exciting News!
I am now a Design Team member for My Scrap Chick!!!

I have been using files from this company for many years and now I am so glad to be on their team. I look forward to sharing many projects with you using their super cute files!

I will be showing you two super cute Belly Boxes today.

These boxes are so much fun and so easy to put together!

The files come in many different formats allowing you to cut them out on several different electronic cutting machines. They also come with a PDF for hand cutting.

I just used cardstock from my stash to complete both projects and, of course, I inked the edges for dimension. I used my very old SU chalk around the eyes and on the checks.

I really like the stamp set I used on these. It is the Valentine Treat set from Jaded Blossom.
I really like the pun on the monkey box!!!

And the sentiment on the Skunk box is so versatile for so many different projects.

Hope you will drop by the My Scrap Chick store to check out all the fun files there and the My Scrap Chick FB page to share all your creations with us.

Thanks for stopping by!

Before you leave though, I hope you will become my newest friend on my blog. Just hit the follower button on the top right. Be sure to leave me a comment letting me know that you did, and I will return the favor. I know I sure like to check out the inspiration on many different blogs to keep my mojo flowing.

Blessings,

Whoever you decide, and whatever you decide to make; come share your project with us!!!

I decided to make a Thank You card to give to one of the families at our church,
Just Because!

The cut file this week is from the Five-Minute Cards kit from SVG Cuts. The paper is a My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline. I used a Spellbinders die with a sentiment from
My Craft Spot's Tiny Tag stamp set.

I hope you will join us; but whether you enter your card or not, help us celebrate National RAK Day by doing something/making something for someone
who just might need a bit of kindness!

You're Sweeter than Chocolate!

This is my 2nd post for today. If you are looking for my DT post for Simply Create Too, please click here.

Love is in the Air this Valentine's Day!

And my sweet son wanted something special for his incredible teacher. She loves owls, and my son wanted me to make her another one.

If you'd like to see the first owl I made her, please click here.

For this sweet box, I used the Flat Box from SVG Cut's Love Me Do kit and the Cute Owl set from KaDoodle Bug Designs.

My paper is MME Lost and Found Record It Heirloom. I used a bit of Valentine Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine for a bow and added a heart button. The banner die is from Spellbinders and the sentiment is from the Valentine Treats set from Jaded Blossom.

This little owl is just adorable!

I know my little guy was excited to take this to school today!

And of course, we didn't leave out all of his classmates. I lifted this idea from Barb's blog here, and she actually got the idea from Jaymie off the Jaded Blossom blog here. Thanks to both of you!!!

I actually made 41 of these for both of my boys to take to school. This is just a small sampling.

My topper is a label from Miss Kate Cuttables' Tags and Backgrounds set. The hearts are from a kit at SVG Cuts. After resizing the label to work for my project, I cut them on my Eclips and then I used by Scor-Pal to scor them in half. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom - Valentine Treats stamp set.

I leave you with a picture of my son smiling about his treats.

Isn't he handsome!!!

Blessings,

Be Mine Octagon Box

Mary and Leo offered a cute freebie box last week at SVG Cuts
and I knew I would have to make it the second I saw it.

I really liked how Mary had embellished hers with the pearls around the heart so I used them too, but I also added a 3D flower from the Happy Birthday to You kit. I finished it off with the banner die from Spellbinders and the Be Mine stamp from Jaded Blossom.

I used up some more of my MME Lost and Found Record It Heirloom paper.
Yes, I will have to get some more of this paper!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you will leave a comment and become a new follower. If you do both, I will return the favor.

Robot Love!

This Friday is Valentine's Day. Are you ready to share the LOVE?!

I have another idea for you using an Action Wobble. You can find my project on the Action Wobble blog today. I hope you will stop by there and checkout our daily inspiration: and while you are there, check out our current challenge.

I used a cut file from My Scrap Chick called Robot Valentine. My card was made for a little girl, but this robot would make a cute Valentine for the sweet little guys in your life as well.

My card base is PTI, the DP is an old stack from my stash made by K&Company, and I added some Very Cherry Cupcake twine from Trendy Twine.

Here is a picture of the Action Wobble.

And here is my robot getting her wobble on!

If you do not have any Action Wobbles of your own, you can pick them up at the Royal Shoppe . The shop is a closed group, so just ask to join. You'll be glad you did!

Are you already using Action Wobbles? Well we want to see those projects. Share them on our Facebook page or become a follower of our blog and join in on our challenges!

Be Mine Gable Box

I have several little gifts I want to make for Valentine's Day.

For this one, I used the Gable Box from My Scrap Chick! This is a one piece box (cut out on my electronic die-cutting machine) that is perfect for a sweet treat. I have filled mine with Hugs and Kisses.

I again used the My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Record It: Heirloom. There are so many great patterns in this collection! And the colors are just beautiful!

And of course, I am enjoying the Simple Sayings Valentine Edition stamps from Jaded Blossom. It is a great set of stamps for this season!

How about a bit of Trendy Twine as well. It adds the perfect touch!

And can I just say, don't forget to ink your edges. It really does make a difference in adding dimension. It is a pretty easy technique and helps all your projects stand out.

Thanks for stopping by!

Many Blessings,

Valentine, Be Mine!

We are having another challenge over at

613 Avenue Create

and this week the theme is

Anything Goes w/ an optional twist to use Felt

This week my cut files (electronic die-cuts) come from SVG Cuts.

The Heart Shaped Box

I just enjoy so much that I can open it up and add any kind of chocolates I want!!!

My Card

The stamped sentiments are from Jaded Blossom.

I used My Mind's Eye for my DP and American Crafts for the solid cardstock. I used Papertrey Ink and Colorbox inks to ink all my edges. I added a few pearl embellishments. And of course I had to use a bit of felt, so I made felt roses. Some tutorials for making felt roses can be found on my Pinterest page on my Ideas to Try board.

Hope you enjoyed today's project.
