Happy Halloween 2017!

Happy Halloween, friends!!! I hope you have a Boo-tiful day with family and friends!

I have a couple of fun treats for you!

My daughter's class visited a Care Center behind their school and put on a fall skit for the residents. Her teacher asked me if I could make something that the kids could give to them, so I made a bunch of these cute bookmarks! They were a big hit!

I used Jaded Blossom's Halloween Dies, Halloween Paint Splatters, Pumpkin Faces, and Pick Your Poison! I loved the cute little faces so much, that I decided that I would also use the ghosts and faces for the treats that I made for my husband and kiddos for Halloween morning.

Have fun trick or treating tonight. Stay safe and stay warm!!! It is going to be a really cold one here in the Kansas City area!

Head over to the Jaded Blossom Blog to see more Halloween treats that have been shared this month.

The bookmark svg file is from SVG Cutting Files. The patterned paper is from Doodlebug Design and the cardstock is from Papertrey Ink.

Blessings,

He should cause a fright!!!

All the Halloween is on sale right now at SVG Cutting Files store, so head over there and see what you will find frightfully delightful!

I also used the Folding Gift Card Die, the Goody Bag Die InsertGift Card Die and Mini Tag Dies 2 from Jaded Blossom.

The cardstock is Papertrey Ink and the paper is Doodlebug Design. The sentiment is from Scrappy Mom Stamps.

Spooktacular Birthday!

It is my day to post over on the Jaded Blossom Blog, so I have a treat for you today!

I always wanted an October birthday so that I could get Halloween birthday cards; so when my niece had her birthday last week, I couldn't help myself - I had to make a Spooktacular card!!!

Isn't it cute!!! I used Card Mat Dies, Stitched Circle Dies, Halloween Dies, and So Many Birthdays 3. The card base is cardstock from Papertrey Ink.

Hope you are getting excited for some trick or treating. We will be joining my brother and his family at their haunted front yard. I'll share pictures of our hauntingly happy fun!

Blessings,

Pumpkin Vampire Card!

Excited to be sharing this fun card using a new file from SVG Cutting Files called Pumpkin Vampire

This sweetie will be available in the store this Friday along with some of his favorite pumpkin friends!!! Check out the SVG Cutting Files Blog all week for lots of fun sneak peeks!

I used my Silhouette cutting machine to make him into a fun card. I think he would make the perfect Halloween invitation for all your spooktacular parties this month! My card is going to be for my daughter's teacher this year. My daughter and I will have to see about putting together a package of Vampire Candy Bites to go with it!

I used Papertrey Ink and Bazzill cardstock.

Thanks for dropping by!

Halloween Challenge - Craftaholics R Us #39!

It's my turn to post for the Craftaholics R Us Challenge!

This week's theme is Halloween!

I used an SVG cut file from Doodlebug Design that I purchased from the Lori Whitlock store. This little ghost is just too cute!!!

For the inside, I cut a piece of Papertrey Ink's Green Parakeet cardstock using Jaded Blossom's Card Mat Dies and then stamped a Happy Halloween sentiment from an old Scrappy Moms stamp set.

Can't wait to see what you create!

Link up your projects on the Craftaholics R Us blog. This challenge will run through
Tuesday, Oct. 10 at Noon Eastern Time.

Blessings,

A Halloween Hello!

It has been a few weeks, but I was finally able to finish another MFT Weekly Sketch.

This was made using Sketch 352. The stamp set is MFT's Witch Way is the Candy!

The patterned paper is from MFT's Dots and Stripes 6x6 paper pad. I used Copic markers to color my images and the then colored the yellow panel with the same yellow Copics I used for her dress. I used foam squares to adhere the panel, the witch, and her famliar.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look!

Halloween Card!

I'm so excited to be sharing another Halloween creation with you! It is my day to post
for the Jaded Blossom Blog.

To get started, I dug through my stash to find the Jaded Blossom Halloween stamps and dies that I would use - Halloween Paint Splatters, Halloween Panels, the new Halloween Banner Dies, Happy Halloween Word Dies (the September Release Freebie), and Halloween Dies.

I started with a piece of white watercolor paper and used my brand new Distress Oxide Inks in Spiced Marmalade and Twisted Citron to make my background. (Love the new Oxide Inks way better than the old Distress Inks.) I then used my Black Soot to stamp the cracks from the Halloween Paint Splatters set and the Spider with its web from the Halloween Panels set. I then diecut the Witch's Hat, Happy Halloween words (cut and layered 3x), and the bats and then added them using various mediums. The black cardstock is all Papertrey Ink True Black.

Leave a comment letting me know which Jaded Blossom stamp or die set is your favorite for Halloween. And let me know if you have tried the new Distress Oxide Inks. Do you love them as much as I do?!!

Blessings,

Happy Halloween! Jaded Blossom September Release Day 5!

It's Day 5 of the Jaded Blossom September Release and I have a Boo of a card for you!

I used the freebie of the month - Happy Halloween Word Die.

I started with some watercolor paper and distress inks and made my background. I splattered it with Distress Paint and then stamped on my images from Halloween Panels and Halloween Paint Splatters. The happy stamp is a from So Many Birthdays 3. And to finish it off, I added my new favorite Halloween Dies - these sweet little ghosts from the Halloween Banner Dies.

I love how it turned out even if I added my Halloween script a bit crooked. LOL!

Stop by the Jaded Blossom Blog to see more projects using the freebie of the month and the last stamp set reveal called Fall Oragami!

Love this new VooDoo You Love stamp set!!!

It is day 4 of the Jaded Blossom Release and we are sharing lots of Spooktacular fun!

This set just makes me laugh!!! I paired it with the Goody Bag Die to make this fun treat bag! I may have to give it to my husband for Halloween. I used Prismacolor Pencils to color the Voodoo doll, Doodlebug Design paper for the bag, and Zing embossing powder.

Stop by the Jaded Blossom blog for more inspiration using this awesome set of stamps!

No Bones About It! Jaded Blossom September Release Day 3!

It is Day 3 of the Jaded Blossom September Release and today there is two stamp sets to share - Magical Halloween and Purrfect Halloween.

I just made a simple card today! I used this month's spotlight stamp set - Halloween Panels - as well. I emboseed the skeleton stamp and the sentiment with Zing Black Embossing Powder on Orange Zest Cardstock by Papertrey Ink. The panel was cut out with the Rectangle Dies 1. The patterned paper in the background was cut using the Card Mat Dies. I layered both pieces on a card base using Papertrey Ink's True Black Cardstock. I cut the spider and the bat from the Halloween Dies.

Zombie Virus!

I know you all are thinking sunshine and rainbows and flip flops with all that heat outdoors, but sometimes I just have to craft something I love and for me that is something for Halloween. And besides, next month everyone is going to be bombarding us with Christmas in July, right!!!

So today, I dug the Poison Bottle out of the Halloween section of the SVG Cutting Files Store to post here and on the SVG Cutting Files Blog.

I turned the Poison Bottle into a shaped card using the weld function in Silhouette Studio software. My husband is a huge Walking Dead fan, so this will make a great card for him.

I decided to decorate the bottle with the new Label Shape Dies from Jaded Blossom and used sentiments from Pick Your Poison and Spooky Labels.

And now that I think of it, Halloween is only 4 months away, so maybe I'll be hanging out in the Halloween section of the store a lot more between now and then! Bwahahaha!

Thanks for stopping by today! See you soon!

I don't care which Jaded Blossom dies I use, because I love them all. And today's new dies are no exception. The tree limbs will add such an awesome background to a variety of projects!!! For this project, I knew I wanted to do a Halloween scene. At first, I thought I'd make a card, but then I decided I needed a treat box!!! I took the concept I wanted for the card and just added it to the front of the box. Along with the new Scenic Dies, I used Halloween Dies, Halloween Dies 2, Candy Charms and Banner Dies, and Spooky Labels. The paper is from Graphic 45 and the box is from SVG Cuts Carousel Ride kit.

Now on to the HOP....

Happy Halloween! September Release Week Day 5 at Jaded Blossom!

It's Day 5 and that means it is Release Day! Be looking for the new stamps and dies to go live in the store at 4 PM PDT tonight, and be ready to hop with us at that time as well.

There are two sets to show you today. One is Periodic Words which I think is awesome even though I didn't get to use it today. I'll be coming up with a project using it soon though. The other is this month's freebie - Halloween Labels. I used the Happy Halloween sentiment from it to make this fun card. I need lots of cards for Halloween. Give out more at Halloween than I do at Christmas. Haha!!!

I also used Card Mat Dies, Scallop Topper and Slider Dies, Halloween Dies, and the new Halloween Dies 2 from Monday's sneak peek. Yep, it's a simple one, and sometimes that's just what we need!

Here is a peek at both of today's stamp sets:

Okay, we will be seeing you tonight for the blog hop at 4 PM. Can't wait!!!

But for right now, head over to the Jaded Blossom Blog to see how the others used today's last two stamp sets!
