Howdy Cowgirl! Day 2 of the Jaded Blossom August Release!

I'm loving Day 2 of the Jaded Blossom August Release!!!

We are sharing two new stamp sets today - Giddy Up and Pig Out!

I love the little pony on Giddy Up and have used it on my card today.

The patterned paper I used is from Carta Bella's Giddy Up collection that I have had in my stash for a little while. So glad to have this sweet image to give me a chance to use the papers. I colored the pony with Copic Markers. The card base is Papertrey Inks Kraft cardstock and I finished it all off with some Simple Stories Enamel Dots.

The card layout is inspired by a sketch from Paper Play Sketches - Sketch #48.

Day 3 of Three Days with Rudolph!

This is the last edition in my mini series! And this one may be my favorite!

Jaded Blossom has this sweet stamp set called Hello Deer that has the cutest little reindeer on it and I have been using this cutie for this series.

This is Day 3 of Three Days with Rudolph:

I used these Copics to color my image:

E000, E00, E13, E15, E18
R22, R24, R29
R20

I have had fun with coloring and think that I may have to color an image a day for awhile. It is exciting to find an interest in something different and coloring images is something I have dabbled in but not really done a lot of. I'm liking it!

The sentiment is from a company that is out of business (sorry!) and the paper is from a retired Carta Bella collection (I'd like to talk them into rereleasing it though.).

The metal dies I used are from Jaded Blossom -
Card Mat Dies, Card Layer Dies 2, and Label Shape Dies.

You can find all the products from Jaded Blossom in the store here.

I hope you have enjoyed this series. Thank you for stopping by to see my creations.
You can find Day 1 here and Day 2 here if you missed them.

Blessings,

Day 2 of Three Days with Rudolph!

I'm still having fun with Christmas in July projects and I'm hoping you are getting a head start on your Christmas projects too!

Jaded Blossom has this sweet stamp set called Hello Deer that has the cutest little reindeer on it and I am doing a mini series to show off this cutie!!!

This is Day 2 of Three Days with Rudolph:

I again used the same Copic Colors as yesterday's card.

Copic Markers :
E000, E00, E13, E15, E18
R22, R24, R29
R20

I struggled more with the blending this time. I think it was because I was trying too hard to get it to come out like yesterdays coloring and because I added more of the E18 on this one.

The sentiment is from a stamp company that is no longer in business and the paper is the same retired Carta Bella collection that I used for my Day 1 card.

The metal dies I used are from Jaded Blossom:
Card Mat Dies, Card Layer Dies 2, and Scallop Oval Dies.

You can find all the products from Jaded Blossom in the store here.

Hope you enjoyed today's card and that you will stop back tomorrow for Day 3.
If you missed the card from Day 1, you can find it here.

Blessings,

Day 1 of Three Days with Rudolph!

It's time for a bit more Christmas in July!

Jaded Blossom has this sweet stamp set called Hello Deer that has the cutest little reindeer on it and I want to share a mini series with you showing off this cutie!!!

This is Day 1 of Three Days with Rudolph:

I have had this stamp set too long to not have colored this sweet stamp!

I used Copic Markers :
E000, E00, E13, E15, E18
R22, R24, R29
R20

The more I use my Copics, the easier I am finding them to use. I need to buy some better paper as I am just using Recollections brand right now. Maybe with a better paper, I'd have an easier time with the blending.

The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Holiday Gift Tags stamp set. I love the fun font on this one.

I used some fun paper for this too. It is from an older Carta Bella Christmas collection - it is a collection that I wish they'd re-release. LOL! Do you have any paper collections like that? Something that you have a hard time using your last little bit of because you know that when it is gone - IT IS GONE. I have a few!!!

I used a few metal dies on this as well that are all from Jaded Blossom -
Stitched Circle Dies, Scallop Circle Dies, and Border Dies 2.

You can find all the products from Jaded Blossom in the store here.

Hope you enjoyed today's card and that you will stop back by to see the rest of my mini series.

Blessings,

This Santa silhouette with his reindeer is just too cute! I hope that Santa is stopping by your house this Christmas holiday to bring you gifts and to remind you of the greatest gift of all - Jesus!

The background paper for this is from Carta Bella and the sentiment from My Craft Spot.

Winter Teddy Matching Tag and Gift Bag - Day 2 of 12 Days of Christmas Tags with Treasure Box Designs

I hope you enjoyed Day 1 of the 12 Days of Christmas Tags yesterday! The Angel Tags were so fun to make and I enjoyed reading all your comments. Yesterday's winner of the 2 piece set of Angel Tags is:

Sharondalyn from Cropalcoholic

You have until December 5 to claim your prize. Contact me through email or a message on my FB page, M Miranda Creations.

Now let's get to the Day 2 fun!!!

Today's project uses a file from the Christmas Tag Pals from Treasure Box Designs.

Here is the tag for Day 2 and for this one I made a matching gift bag.

This bear caught my eye as I searched through all the Christmas tag files that Dina has in Treasure Box Designs' store. He is just too cute and I liked him so much that I wanted to make a matching gift bag to go with the tag.

To make both of these pieces, I used both colored and patterned cardstock from Carta Bella's Merry and Bright collection. This has been one of my favorite collections of paper ever as a papercrafter. I wish I could get my hands on some more of it!!! The file for the bag is from the Silhouette store. All the stamped sentiments - Don't Open 'Til Christmas and the To and From - are from My Craft Spot (no longer in business). The twine I used on the tag is Raspberry Cupcake Trendy Twine from Annie's Paper Boutique and the ribbon for the handles is just something that I picked up from a local scrap store. To add the handles, I used a hole punch.

Here's a close up of the bear cuties!!!

Here is a picture of the Christmas Tag Pals in the TBD store. You will find them currently on Page 3 of the Christmas section in the store.

Now for today's prize:

One luck winner is going to receive the Christmas Tag Pals cut file (this is a digital download) from the TBD store. These files come in a few different  formats to use with a variety of die cutting machines. My favorite is the svg format to use with my Cameo.

To win, you must do the following:

Leave a comment on this post letting me know which is your favorite character from the Christmas Tag Pals file. Is it the bear like me, or do you prefer the reindeer, mouse, snowman, or penguin? Now that is an easy way to win a super fun set of Christmas Tags.

(Remember that today's prize is an electronic file and not a finished piecing.)

Thank you for stopping by! Come back tomorrow to find out who won on Day 2 and see what cute tag we have for you on Day 3.

Blessings,

Let It Snow Snowman Bear Gift Bag!

How about another cute gift bag? This one is using a fun file from

One of Melissa's newest files is Fun in the Snow. I think these bears are absolutely adorable.

I used the Snowman Bear on my gift bag.

I started by sizing my bear in my Silhouette software to the size I needed so that it would fit on my bag. (The bag was sized to the largest size I could make it on my virtual mat.) I cut the pieces and put my bear together. I used paper from Carta Bella's Merry and Bright collection. I then took another piece of the patterned paper from the collection and cut out my gift bag. The gift bag is from SVG Cutting Files Dinosaur Handled Bag file. Once my bag was cut and assembled, I added the Snowman Bear file with pop dots. I then die cut a banner from the Spellbinder's Pennant set, added my sentiment from Peachy Keen Stamps Christmas Greeting Words set and some Totally Natural Trendy Twine, and attached it to the bag as well. I also attached a snowflake from a Martha Stewart punch I have. So excited to have made two adorable gift bags this week. See Monday's post for the other one.

I hope you have a terrific week and as always I am grateful that you dropped by. I invite you to check out my Facebook and Pinterest pages as well if you'd like.

Blessings,

Trendy Twine's Christmas Tin Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the

Trendy Twine Christmas Tin Blog Hop

It's a perfect way to start the month of December and a special 12 days of Christmas celebration where the DT will be WOWing you all with creative gift giving ideas using Trendy Twine (of course) as well as other products found in the Trendy Twine store. But we will have more on that tomorrow.

Today the DT is showcasing all the different "tins" that are offered in the Trendy Twine store and getting you all in the gift giving mood!

Sit back, grab your favorite beverage, and get ready to be inspired!

If you have come here from Tammy, then you are in the right spot. If you just happened on to my page, you may want to start back at the Trendy Twine blog so as not to miss any of the great creations we have for you.

Today, I am using the Small Treat Tin for my project.

For me, Christmas is Christ! So I wanted to start my December
with a reminder of His birth in the manger.

I used Carta Bella's Merry and Bright paper collection to decorate my tin on the top and on the bottom half sides. I used design #49706 from the Silhouette Store to make cutting my pieces easier. It was a bit off, but I altered it to make it work. I then added Holly Berry Trendy Twine around the top sides by adding tape along the length of the sides to hold the twine. My paper piecing of Baby Jesus comes from My Scrap Chick's Christmas Nativity 1 - Manger set. I altered the manger a bit as well. The sentiment is from My Craft Spot's Tiny Tags Christmas stamp set. I stamped it on to a die cut from Spellbinder's Nested Ovals set. I used pop dots to add Baby Jesus in the Manger. I finished it all off with a bow of Holly Berry Trendy Twine above my sentiment and some small gems. This little tin is perfect for storing 25 Advent scripture cards for your daily readings. It is also a great size to put in a few pieces of candy to give someone as a treat.

Here are my supplies from the Trendy twine store:

It is a blog hop so there has to be prizes, right! We will actually have two lucky winners. Each winner will receive a spool of Candy Cane Trendy Twine and a set of printable Christmas tags. To win, all you need to do is leave a comment on each blog and become a follower of each blog as well.

Be watching the Trendy Twine blog as Day 2 of the Trendy Twine 12 Days of Christmas happens tomorrow. We have 11 more days of gift packaging ideas coming your way!!!

Day 2 of the scripture reading that I am following this Advent season:

1 Corinthians 1:3-9

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I give thanks to God always for you because of the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus, that in every way you were enriched in him with all speech and all knowledge--even as the testimony to Christ was confirmed among you--so that you are not lacking in any spiritual gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ; who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Christmas Nativity!

It is hard to believe that the seasons are changing, that there is a chill in the air, and that in just a few short months the snow will be piled up in front of my windows and we will be celebrating again the birth of the Lord Jesus. I love this time of year. Right now the trees are trying to hold onto their rust colored leaves, but when the wind blows they cascade down in beautiful dancing patterns. Soon the kids will be marching from house to house trying to get a treat without a trick!

As a crafter, there are so many fun ways to craft in a fashion that highlights all the joys of the next couple of months. But as a believer, that which is most important to me is a reflection on God sending His son in the form of a baby as a guarantee that He is reconciling the whole world to Himself. I am thankful that this story was shared with me and that it changed my life.

Last year, I had a dear friend ask me to make her some tags so that she could spread her joy of Jesus to her friends and family. I made these tags this year for her as well. I have one more set of the paper piecings that will go up on my Etsy shop soon if anyone is interested. They are not attached to tags at this point but could be added. And the set I will be selling is different as each character has faux stitching. I will try to photograph them today and have them in my store by tomorrow. You could also send me an email if you think you are interested.

Joseph, Mary, and Baby Jesus as he lay in the manger.

Two shepherds who came to Jesus while he was yet in Bethlehem in the barn were he was born. They praised God for the birth of this child.

The wise men who saw the star and came from the East to bring gifts when Jesus was a bit older, but no more than two.

The gifts of frankincense, gold, and myrrh. Gifts for a king!

The story is a wonderful story, a story that I hold dear to my heart and know to be true!

Sweet Gingers!

July is coming to an end, but all the Christmas crafting is just beginning. Today I have two more tags to share with you using files from

My Scrap Chick

How about some Ginger Cuties!

I think Mr. Ginger is a bit smitten with Miss Ginger!

The file I used for the gingers is called Ginger Babies. I used Ginger 4, but I left off the bib. I also layered one of the gingers on my mat before cutting and flipped it horizontally to give it a different angle. Once the gingers were inked and assembled, I attached them to the tag from the Fall Tree Gift Tag file. I cut out the base of the tag at the imported size, but the top layer was resized to 2.582" wide x 4.750" high. I really like the shape of
this tag and I use it for lots of tag projects.

The gingers were finished off with this cute face from the Peachy Keen Stamps Fun Kiddie Face Assortment (PK-546). The eyes were filled in with my white gel pen, the cheeks were chalked and a few freckles added, and the nose was colored in with
EK Success and Martha Stewart colored pencils.

I used some Valentine Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine and a button to attach my ribbon to the tag. I also gave Miss Ginger a Trendy Twine bow in the same color.

Supplies Used:

My Scrap Chick -

Trendy Twine -

Carta Bella -
Merry and Bright Paper Collection

Papertrey Ink -
Vintage Cream Cardstock

Ribbon and Button from My Stash

Jingles the Elf!

It is a Linky Party mid post for Craftin' Desert Divas!

I had fun making this tag combining this cute elf file from KaDoodle Bug Designs with the Craftin' Desert Divas Simply Said stamp set.

Told you he is cute! This is Jingles the Elf. Jingles was pieced together using paper from Carta Bella's Merry and Bright paper pack. He has a sister, Holly, who I will be sharing with you soon too! Like I said, he is a cut file from KaDoodle Bug Designs. And who doesn't want to receive a package that is stamped with Just for You!!! This stamp is one of many very versatile stamps in the Simply Said set.

The elf is attached to a tag that was resized to fit my needs from My Scrap Chick. The paper for the tag was also from Carta Bella's line and a piece of Vintage Cream cardstock from Papertrey Ink. His sweet face is from Peachy Keen Stamps latest release - PK 1410 Christmas in July Face Assortment.

The ribbon is from my stash and is attached to the tag using Trendy Twine's Totally Natural Solid Twist. Then just a few pearls to finish it all off.
