Celebrate Christ! Jaded Blossom February Release Day 2!

I am so excited about today's reveal for the Jaded Blossom 2017 February Release.

Today's new stamp set and dies are perfect for Celebrating Christ!

I have used the new Cross Dies, the new Rejoice stamp set, Spring Dies 1 (Version 2), and Flag Dies to make this beautiful treat box. When my husband saw it, he said, "Wow!"

I love the newest spring collection from Doodlebug Design called Spring Things. The cloud paper I used is now one of my all time favorite cloud papers. I also used their Rainbow Petite Prints collection. The box is from the Silhouette store. It is the 3D Scalloped Double Sided Tote.

Here is a peak at both of today's reveals!

Coffee and Sweets! Jaded Blossom January Release Day 1

Happy Monday to you!!!

It is Day 1 of Jaded Blossom's January Release!!! Yay!

You are going to just "love" today's new die set and stamps! After you take a look here, I hope you will stop by the Jaded Blossom Blog and see what the rest of the DT has made.

Today we are introducing the Alphabet dies and the Heart Splatters stamp set.

What could be better than Starbuck's and Chocolate!!!

For my project, I made this super cute gift card/candy holder. I picked up the cut file for the box in the Silhouette store - #111289. Once I had my box assembled, I die cut the "Love" word with the new Jaded Blossom Alphabet dies. I also used Mini Tag Dies 2 and die cut the tag. On the tag, I stamped a heart from the Heart Splatters set; and also added ribbon, a button, and some Trendy Twine. I glued the letters onto the box and used foam tape to attach the tag. The paper I used for the background is from My Mind's Eye Heirloom 6x6 paper pad. The candies are Cherry Cordial Kisses and I stuck a Starbuck's gift card in there as well!

Santa Claus is Coming to Town - PDE Linky Party

Are you Linking Up with PDE? Every Friday starts a new PDE Linky Party and today is my DT day for the month of December. Many of my DT sisters and I have some wonderful projects to inspire you today, so head on over to see all of them after scrolling though my project for you!

I'm using a file I picked up from the Silhouette store last Christmas for this card. When I bought this file, I knew that it would always be one of my favorites and that I'd get many uses out of it.

This Santa silhouette with his reindeer is just too cute! I hope that Santa is stopping by your house this Christmas holiday to bring you gifts and to remind you of the greatest gift of all - Jesus!

The background paper for this is from Carta Bella and the sentiment from My Craft Spot.

Stop by the PDE Blog and link up all your projects this week. The theme is always

Thanks for dropping by!

Holly Favor Bag!

Happy October 21st! Today I have my 21st project to share with you for the month.

This one is Christmas themed. I have a cute bag for you that comes from the Silhouette store.

This is the 3D Holly Favor Bag (#71881). And it is a good sized bag that will hold a fun gift or some treats. I was excited to find it in the Sil store as it will make a great bag to take hostess gifts in for the holiday parties. This bag needed a special paper too. I used paper from Teresa Collin's Christmas Cottage collection. This is just a beautiful set of papers and the quality of the paper is fabulous. I bought lots of this when I found it and I will be very sad when it runs out. I was hoping to add a tag and sentiment before photographing it, but the kiddos arrived home before I finished and I just had to set it aside for homework duty. And I didn't get back to it before the good photographing daylight was coming to a close for the day and I just had to take the picture. I'll still add the sentiment before I use it and maybe will share the update later on.

Thank you for stopping in today. It is always wonderful to have you here!

Blessings,

Scaredy Cat - August Jaded Blossom Guest Designer

Today I am sharing my last Guest Design Team project over on the Jaded Blossom blog. I have had such a great time working with everyone over there this month!!!

Halloween is my favorite holiday to craft for and it will be here before we know it! Yeah!! So today I am sharing this super spooky pencil gift using Jaded Blossom's Meow and Forever stamp set and the Label Dies that were both released this month.

I started this project with a clear bag measuring 2 1/4" x 8". Mine is from Annie's Paper Boutique, but you can also find them in the JB store. I filled it with pencils and then got to work on my tag. The tag is from the Silhouette store. I altered it considerably to make it the shape and size I wanted. I also used my internal offset function to make a top layer for it. That top layer was cut using Doodlebug Design's October 31st collection. This is a super cute collection of papers!!! The paper piecing is from My Scrap Chick and is called Scaredy Cat. I ran the Label Die through my Cuttlebug and then did some masking to my Scaredy Cat sentiment to stamp it as I did. I added a piece of ribbon through the top using a button and some Totally Grape Trendy Twine from Annie's Paper Boutique. I also wrapped some more twine around my clear bag of pencils a few times and tied that off with a bow. I then used foam squares to attach my cat piecing and my spider embellishment to the top of the tag and then used foam tape to attach the tag to the clear bag. It is a spooktacularly fun project!!!

You can also find this project, as well as all my other GDT projects from this month, on the Jaded Blossom Blog. I hope you will stop by there to check them out along with all the inspiration of the Jaded Blossom Design Team!

A Chick and His Peep!

I have another set of Easter Gable Boxes to share with you today!

A Chick and His Peep!!!

The chick is part of a Silhouette store file called Easter Bunny w/ Chicks (#76255). The peep is not included in the file, but one can easily be found. I took a gable box (2 1/2" W x 4"L x 5" H) from Annie's Paper Boutique - Home of Trendy Twine - and added four panels around the bottom. The paper I used is from Doodlebug Design's Hello Spring 12x12 paper pack. I then wrapped my box three times using Tickled Pink Trendy Twine, threaded a button onto it, and then tied a bow. The chick was then added using foam squares. The tag was stamped using the Happy Easter stamp from Verve Stamps. This is a great stamp company. I definitely have a wish list for their store. I also cut another peep and used foam squares to attach it as well. The tag was tied to the box using two more pieces of the Tickled Pink Trendy Twine.

I am so glad you stopped in today to take a peek at my gable box. I hope you will leave a comment. I truly enjoy reading them. And I hope you will give some gable boxes a try. I would enjoy seeing your creations as well. You can also find my projects on  Facebook and Pinterest. Have a wonderful day!!!

Santa and His Reindeer Gift Box!

One more Christmas project to share with you and then it is time to think about the new year and all the fun projects the year will bring. I made this gift box for my Sister in Law to hold some BBW hand soaps. As soon as I saw this file of Santa in the Silhouette store, I knew had to use him somehow. I know that this Santa will be used next year too.

Using the same Nail Polish Tote from Lori Whitlock that I used to make my Baby Sock Tote with this last September, I sized it even larger this time to hold the hand soap bottles. I used some heavy cardstock from my stash and decorated it using paper from Echo Park's Tis the Season Paper Pad that I picked up from Annie's Paper Boutique (Home of Trendy Twine). I then opened up the Santa Sleigh Silhouetted by the Moon file (#52304) and altered it so that I would only have one reindeer and sized it for the front of the box. I used heavy black textured cardstock from my stash for this. I also die cut a Spellbinders Oval die with my Cuttlebug and stamped it using a stamp from My Craft Spot's Naughty or Nice stamp set. Once I figured out how I wanted my Santa placed on the box, I wrapped some Holly Berry Trendy Twine around it. I added the Santa silhouette and the sentiment with pop dots. This was one of my favorite creations of the season.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Hope to have you here again soon.

Trendy Twine's 12 Days of Christmas Day 8

On the 8th Day of Christmas, Trendy Twine shared with me...

Hey All!!! - It is Day 8 of Gift Packaging ideas from Trendy Twine.
I hope you have been enjoying all the ideas for the Christmas Season as much as we have been enjoying sharing them with you.

It drives my husband batty, but I have this need to really dress up my holiday packages and stocking stuffers. That means big bows, lots of ribbon and twine, and of course cute tags. Yes, I admit, that I may go a bit overboard in my hubby's opinion; but until he helps with the wrapping, I guess I get to do it any way I want to, right!!!!

Today I have a stocking stuffer to share with you that has a tag attached and then I will also show you the same tag made with different colors. I used Holly Berry and Twisted Gumball Trendy Twine. I have also used the 8" Skinny Candy Chutes.

The tag is from the Silhouette Store and is 4" in height and was made using a MME's Merry Christmas paper pad. The cut file that I attached to it with pop dots is from Little Scraps of Heaven and the stamped sentiment is from My Craft Spot. I added ribbon with a bit of Holly Berry Trendy Twine and a jingle bell as well.

Here is a close up of the tag.

This penguin is so super cute hiding under his Santa hat!

To attach the tag, I wrapped some more Holly Berry TT around the candy chute and then attached it to the ribbon on the back of the tag.

This next tag is for my princess, so it had to be made up in pinks. And since Twisted Gumball is one of my favorite twine colors, I accented my pink tag with blue and again attached another cute penguin.

I hope you will stop by the Trendy Twine blog to see all the wonderful projects my talented teammates have made. And remember there are four more day of ideas left to go.

I am happy you dropped by my blog today, and I hope you will find me on my Facebook and Pinterest pages as well.

May you know God's presence this Christmas season,

Trendy Twine's Christmas Tin Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the

Trendy Twine Christmas Tin Blog Hop

It's a perfect way to start the month of December and a special 12 days of Christmas celebration where the DT will be WOWing you all with creative gift giving ideas using Trendy Twine (of course) as well as other products found in the Trendy Twine store. But we will have more on that tomorrow.

Today the DT is showcasing all the different "tins" that are offered in the Trendy Twine store and getting you all in the gift giving mood!

If you have come here from Tammy, then you are in the right spot. If you just happened on to my page, you may want to start back at the Trendy Twine blog so as not to miss any of the great creations we have for you.

Today, I am using the Small Treat Tin for my project.

For me, Christmas is Christ! So I wanted to start my December
with a reminder of His birth in the manger.

I used Carta Bella's Merry and Bright paper collection to decorate my tin on the top and on the bottom half sides. I used design #49706 from the Silhouette Store to make cutting my pieces easier. It was a bit off, but I altered it to make it work. I then added Holly Berry Trendy Twine around the top sides by adding tape along the length of the sides to hold the twine. My paper piecing of Baby Jesus comes from My Scrap Chick's Christmas Nativity 1 - Manger set. I altered the manger a bit as well. The sentiment is from My Craft Spot's Tiny Tags Christmas stamp set. I stamped it on to a die cut from Spellbinder's Nested Ovals set. I used pop dots to add Baby Jesus in the Manger. I finished it all off with a bow of Holly Berry Trendy Twine above my sentiment and some small gems. This little tin is perfect for storing 25 Advent scripture cards for your daily readings. It is also a great size to put in a few pieces of candy to give someone as a treat.

Here are my supplies from the Trendy twine store:

Day 2 of the scripture reading that I am following this Advent season:

1 Corinthians 1:3-9

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I give thanks to God always for you because of the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus, that in every way you were enriched in him with all speech and all knowledge--even as the testimony to Christ was confirmed among you--so that you are not lacking in any spiritual gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ; who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Christmas Bumble Bear

I'm so excited to be a part of the KaDoodle Bug Designs and Peachy Keen Stamps Christmas in July FB hop. Mix these two great companies together and you get a whole lot of cuteness going on!

It is a week long hop (Monday - Friday) and we are on Day 4. If you would like to join in on the fun and have a chance to win some fabulous prizes, head on over to my FB page,
M Miranda Creations, for all the details.

I want to share my card here on my blog as well to give more details on all the supplies I've used and to enter it into a few challenges.

I combined the Busy Bee Bears and Christmas Trees sets from KaDoodle Bug Designs with the Peachy Keen Stamps Christmas Greeting Words to make this super sweet Christmas card.

I think this Bumble Bear is adorable all decked out in Christmas colors. And I like that he is decorating his Christmas tree as this is probably my favorite Christmas tradition each year. I just changed out the heart the bear was carrying for a bulb and used Totally Natural Trendy Twine to attach it.

For the card base, I found this A2 Tabbed Card with Scalloped Sleeve by Lori Whitlock in the Silhouette store.

I hope you have enjoyed my card and are ready to get your Christmas cards going for this season. It will be here quicker than you think!
