Polaroid Pals Snowman!

Happy Weekend!!! I pray that joy has found you this Thanksgiving holiday! My family and I will be hanging ornaments on the tree tonight in preparation for the Christmas season.

I am back today with another Polaroid Pals Card from Treasure Box Designs!

This is the Polaroid Pal Snowman and I think he is just adorable!

You can find this card cut file in the "What's New" or "Christmas" section of the TBD store. To make my card, I actually combined an element from the Polaroid Pals Mouse file as well. I added the scroll at the bottom of the card to add my sentiment to. I also used a snowflake punch by Martha Stewart on the brim of the snowman's hat and added two others to the card. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom and the background DP is from My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland paper collection.

Here is what I used for today's card from the Treasure Box Designs store:

If you would like to see my finished card for the Polaroid Pals Mouse Card, you can find the blog post for it here.

  3. Fab snowman card. Would love to know how you colored your snowman's eyes. Did you use
markers or color pencils?..if so, what brand & colors?

    1. Hi, Shirl! Thank you for stopping by! Glad you like the card. The eyes for this is the black paper that makes the base for the eye and the details are drawn in with a variety of tools. I used chalks, chalk pencils, white gel pen, fine tip sharpie type pens, and a few other tools that I have grown comfortable with. The brands of many of these tools vary and I usually use what is laying on my desk and is close to my reach. To learn more about the technique I would suggest videos done by other Design Team members for Treasure Box Designs that can be found on the Treasure Box Designs facebook page and on YouTube. I hope that the videos will be able to help you with the basics you need to get you started. After that, it's just a lot of practice.

      Hugs, Melissa
