Here's what I created:
My first project is in anticipation of July 4th in just a few days. I love the firework shows!!! So I decided to make some fun treat bags for my kiddos that I can give to them on the holiday. The new rectangle dies make creating a topper so easy!!! I used the Scalloped Rectangle Dies 2 for this one. I also used the Rectangle Dies 2 and Superstar stamp set for my sentiment and the Star Dies for the dark blue stars on the fireworks. The fireworks are from Miss Kate Cuttables and the fun paper is from Doodlebug Design.
Here is a close-up of the topper:
And since July is known to the crafting world as Christmas in July, my 2nd project is a Halloween card. Yes, that's right, I said Halloween. You see, I just couldn't make anything Christmas themed without making something Halloween themed first!!! Does anyone else feel this way?!! LOL!
I love Halloween and some of my favorite JB Dies are the Halloween Dies! This little ghost just makes my heart melt!!!And look at all the fun layers that can be made with the new dies!!! It just looks awesome! To make the card, I used the new Scallop Rectangle Dies 1, new Rectangle Dies 1 and Rectangle Dies 2, Stitched Oval Dies, Halloween Dies, Layered Frame and Journal Die, and Spooky Labels stamp set. The fun patterned papers are from Doodlebug Design, the face stamp is from Peachy Keen Stamps, and the cardstock is Papertrey Ink.
I'm so glad you stopped by today!!! I hope you are enjoying the hop.
