You Set My Heart on Fire! Jaded Blossom June Release Day 3!

I am so STINKIN' EXCITED to share today's reveal with you from the Jaded Blossom June Release!!! We are sharing Dragon Kisses - and I just LOVE this sweet little dragon!!!

You'll have to head over to the Jaded Blossom Blog to see all the colors the Design Team has colored this little cutie, but I colored the little sweetie in pink!

I think I am going to name this little guy JB Dragon! Hehe!

I want to show you some close-ups so you can get a better look at the backgrounds.

The card used the Card Mat Dies, Paint Splatters 2, and Amaze-Me. Love all the details and still it is only a one layer card. To add the Paint Splatters stamp around the dragon, I used the free SVG file for the dragon that you can get from the Jaded Blossom website. I cut it out and laid it over my colored image and then stamped around it.

I used the Luggage Tag Die for my tag. I again used the Paint Splatters stamp around my dragon. The paper for the back layer is Doodlebug Design and I also added some Doodlebug Sprinkles to the front. I tied it to my gift with some pink crinkle ribbon.

I used Copic Markers to color JB - R81, R83, R85, and R20.

#1 Teacher! August 2016 Challenge at Jaded Blossom

It's Challenge Time at Jaded Blossom. This month's challenge is:

Crafter's Choice!!!

Well that makes it easy, doesn't it!
School starts here on Thursday, so I decided to make a fun teacher gift to start the year.

I made this card and matching treat bag with some crayon shaped erasers. My daughter fell in love with the erasers, so her teacher may only get the card. LOL!

I loved the pencil die in the blue color to make it look more like a colored pencil. Too fun!!!

I hope you will join us this month and show off all your awesome projects using Jaded Blossom projects. Head on over to the Jaded Blossom blog to enter and while you are there, check out all the fun projects by the JB team.

Blessings,

You are Amazing Gift Set!

So I totally saw a card on Pinterest that I loved and I immediately said - I can make something like that with my Jaded Blossom dies - and so I did.

Today is my day to post on the Jaded Blossom blog and this is the gift set that I made for my project:

I used several Jaded Blossom goodies including Spring Dies 2, Rectangle Dies 1, Treat Tag Die, and a sentiment from Encouragement. I also used Canson Watercolor paper, Peacock Feathers and Crushed Olive Distress Inks, and Limeade Ice cardstock from Papertrey Ink.

Here is a close up of my card:

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Bee Mine Gift Set!

If you are looking for my Guest Design Team project for Die Cuttin' Divas, please scroll down one post or just go here.

Today is my Design Team day to post on the

and I have another sweet Valentine project to share!!!

I made a matching card, treat box, and gift card holder all using lots of Jaded Blossom goodness and the adorable Stuffy Pals Bee SVG file from Treasure Box Designs. (It comes in several other cutting formats as well.)

For the gift card holder, I used the Folding Gift Card Die and decorated it with the Goody Bag Die Insert using a patterned paper from the Kraft in Color collection from Doodleug Design. I attached a border along the bottom from the Border Dies. I then used pop dots to attach my bee and added a sentiment from the Superstar stamp set using a masking technique. The sentiment was stamped to the acalloped circle die from Mini Tag Dies 2. I also used the Gift Card Die on the inside and slide a Starbucks gift card in there. (Make sure you cut the Gift Card Die on the inside before adding the decorative panel on the outside.)

For the card, I cut a card base at 4.25" square and then die cut the same patterned paper using the Stitched Square Dies. I added a wider border along the bottom of the card from the Border Dies and then used pop dots again for my bee. The sentiment here is from Simple Sayings Valentine Edition and was stamped on a banner from Mini Tag Dies 2. For the sentiment, I actually added an extra "e" to make Bee to fit the theme of my project.

And for the treat box, I used the Scallop Caddy Die with the same background paper. Again I added a border from the Border Dies. Added my bee with pop dots. I then used the Superstar stamp set again for the sentiment that I stamped onto another banner from Mini Tag Dies 2. I also cut an extra heart from the Stuffy Pals Bee file and attached it to the sentiment banner.

(I was cleaning up my desk last night and found this last bee's wings still stuck to one of my cutting mats. Haha! I didn't even realize he was missing them. Let's pretend he has them all tucked up under him. Too funny, and actually he looks pretty cute without them.)

I just love the way the Jaded Blossom Dies all work together to make super fun projects!

Thank you for dropping by!!!

Blessings,
