My crafty friend, Michelle, has been showing off some fun Teacher Appreciation projects and she has gotten me in the mood. I wanted to put together a quick box using the Kawaii Apple from SVG Cutting Files since it is my day to share over there!

I wanted to keep it simple so that making several of these would be a breeze.

Happy Graduation, 2017!

Fiesta! Jaded Blossom April Release Blog Hop!

Hey Everyone!  Welcome to Jaded Blossom's April 2017 Release Blog Hop.  

Now, if you're here from Tina's Blog, you're in the right place; but if you're just passing through, you will want to start at the beginning. I have the complete line up at the bottom.
I made a couple of projects:

First, is this birthday set. I used the new Be a Pinata, new So Many Birthday 3 (a must have!), new Banner Dies, Scallop Hexagon Dies, and Stitched Hexagon Dies. I picked up the fun flower clop from Party City. And my paper is from Doodlebug Design. 

I also made a set of candy holder using these little cactus shaped cups from Party City.

I added some Hot Tamales and then used the new Cinco De Mayo stamps and the Flag Dies to add my sentiment. I heat embossed the sentiment using Zing Embossing Powder.

Wishing You! Jaded Blossom April Release Day 5!

It is Day 5 of the Jaded Blossom April Release.

Everything will be available in the store tonight at 4 PM PST. We will also have a release blog hop that will start at the same time. But before all that fun gets underway, we have our last sneak peek to share with you this morning, Origami Fun, and this month's freebie, Special Birthday!

I used both, along with some of other JB goodies to make this tag on this treat!

I also used the Luggage Tag Die, new So Many Birthdays 3, and new Party Pants. The patterned paper and enamel dots are from Doodlebug Design. I used a small bit of twine from The Twinery as well.

This was made for a young man who my family has been trying to encourage for a few months now. His birthday was yesterday and we were excited to celebrate with him!

You're A-maze-ing! Jaded Blossom April Release Day 4!

Sharing another Amazing stamp set today for the Jaded Blossom April Release Day 4 Reveal!

This one is called A-maze Me!

For those of you who don't know, I am a librarian at one of our local high schools and I decided to make some fun little gifts to give to my teenage library aides. I found these fun smiley face mazes at Party City. I used the Wine Tag Die to make my tag. I embossed the maze on the background and then added my sentiment using the Card Mat Dies and School Dies. I also added a smiley face from Social Candies! To finish it off, I added a banner from this month's new Banner Dies. I know the kids will love them. Teens are like any other kid - they just want some to notice them and appreciate them! That is the true gift in giving them something like this!

Sometimes people ask how we close our treat bags up when making Jaded Blossom projects, so I thought I'd share how I did this one. I stapled the top of the treat bag to the black cardstock to close the top of the bag and attach it to the tag. I then attached the red background piece to the front of the black layer, but only along the top. This allowed the red piece to cover my staples but still adds more dimension to the tag. 

The papers are from Doodlebug Design and Echo Park and the black cardstock is Papertrey Ink.

Ice Cream Card! Jaded Blossom April Release Day 3!

I love line sentiments and was so excited to see a couple of them on the new So Many Birthdays 3 stamp set. I knew they would be perfect to add some great detail to a background paper. I dug through my stash and decided to use some paper from Authentique's Sweetness collection. This is perfect birthday paper!!! 

Besides the new So Many Birthdays 3 stamp set, I also used Rectangle Dies 2, Scallop Rectangle Dies 2, Birthday Dies, and the new Banner Dies that we showed off on Day 1.

Fiesta! Jaded Blossom April Release Day 1!

It's April Release time at Jaded Blossom.

There are so many fun projects today, so I hope you will head over to the Jaded Blossom Blog after scrolling down my post here.

We are showing off the new Banner Dies, the new Cinco De Mayo stamps, and the new Be a Pinata stamps!

I have used the Banner Dies and two sentiments from Cinco De Mayo for today's sneak. To make my topper for my package of maracas, I also used Rectangle Dies 2 and Scallop Rectangle Dies 2.

On the card, I used the largest die from the Card Mat Dies to cut my background.

I used the International Beauty Mexico and Kawaii Pals Fairy from Treasure Box Designs to piece together my SVG file. All the paper is from Doodlebug Design. I used several collections. I love how their colors coordinate across all their collections. You can find some Doodlebug Design in the Jaded Blossom Store under the Fun Extras section. And the cardstock I used for my card base and the Scallop Rectangle Topper is from Papertrey Ink. They have fantastic cardstock! I heat embossed both of my sentiments.

Praise the Lord!

Happy April, Crafty Friends!

I don't know about you, but I am enjoying the visions of spring that are popping up all around us! In my neck of the woods, the trees are beginning to green and flowers are blooming everywhere! It is a beautiful time!

Today, I am sharing on the Jaded Blossom Blog, and want to share this card with you here on my blog as well! Easter can be so fun with its spring chicks and cute bunnies, but it is also a time to Praise the Lord for all that He has done. It is a time to remember His resurrection and praise Him for conquering both sin and the grave!

I have had a song stuck in my head for a couple of days now and one of the lines goes - Praise the Lord all my soul and worship His holy name. So, of course, this sentiment seemed appropriate. And though I was not thinking about it when I was making this card; today,April 4th, was on an Easter Sunday 18 years ago and the day I became a Christian. I am praising the Lord today and rejoicing in His faithfulness and I hope you have reason to Praise Him as well!

I used Card Mat Dies and the Rejoice stamp set from Jaded Blossom on this sweet card. 

The shepherd and his sheep is from a Nativity set by My Scrap Chick. The background paper is from my scrap stash of paper so I don't remember the which company it is from. The card base is Papertrey Ink and the sentiment is heat embossed using Zing embossing powder and a Versamark stamp pad.
