Valentine!

Well it seems that January is just sliding on by and Valentine's Day is looming closer. I have several projects I need to get done for the kids to take to school. 

What are you making for your kiddos to take as Valentines this year?

Today I am on the SVG Cutting Files blog and I have used the Chibi Hairdresser file to make a Valentine's Day card. I think this chibi sweetheart is super cute and thought she would be perfect for holding a heart.

I used some dies from Jaded Blossom as well - Card Mat Dies, Wine Tag Die, and Heart Dies 2.

The background paper is from My Favorite Things and Doodlebug Design and the cardstock for the cardbase is from Papertrey Ink.

Cupid Airlines! January 2017 January Jaded Blog Release Blog Hop!

This release has been so fun, so making the hop project made a tough decision about which stamps to use; but in the end I had to choose Cupid Airlines, because I kept coming back to making some cute little suitcases all dressed up to give as sweet Valentine's!

I also used the new Heart Dies 2 and Rectangle Dies 1. 

The boxes are from Lori Whitlock and are called One Piece Suitcase and the paper is from Michael's Recollections brand.

Being Sweet is Contagious! Jaded Blossom January Release 2017!

It's Release Day at Jaded Blossom!

But before we get to the the release and the blog hop today at 4 pm PST, we have two more stamp sets to share with you this morning - Sweeter Than Candy and Heart Wreath.

I have used Sweeter Than Candy for my card this morning:

This little cutie is definitely made of sugar and spice and I just love the little candy stamp on this set. I had to use it to make my background.

I was watching a video the other day on YouTube and it suggested to use a tan tone paper to color on with the Prismacolor colored pencils. So I broke out my kraft paper from Papertrey Ink. I really like how bright and bold the colors look on it. I used a Wink of Stella marker on this as well. I wanted to add a bit of glitter to some areas.

Cupid Shot Me! Jaded Blossom January Release 2017!

It's day 4 of the Jaded Blossom January Release sneak peeks and today we are sharing
the new Cupid Airlines stamp set.

Here is my sweet Cupid wine tag:

Isn't this little Cupid just the sweetest!!! And the new Heart Dies frame him so wonderfully. I also used the Wine Tag Die. My paper is from a My Mind's Eye Valentine collection.

So, I have to tell you about this project. I was at the store the other day and saw some Prismacolor Colored Pencils out of the corner of my eye. I have been debating on buying some for some time, so I decided to pick up this 24 pack container that was hanging there and just give them a try. This little cupid is my 1st attempt and I think I'm hooked. What an easy way to color in the adorable Jaded Blossom image stamps. I also used my new Wink of Stella marker on his wings, diaper, and bow and arrow. It is hard to see all the sparkly magic in the picture, but I am left wondering why I haven't bought one of these markers sooner.

We will be releasing this cute set along with all of the January Release tomorrow at 4 pm PST. Hope you will join us for Day 5 tomorrow morning and the Blog Hop that starts at 4 pm tomorrow as well to kick off the release.

Every Day is Lover's Day! Jaded Blossom January Release 2017!

I love January at Jaded Blossom as it is time for some
Valentine's Day fun.

I love how the larger heart opens up the card and frames the splatters!

So why did I choose this sentiment - My husband and I have been married for 14 years and as long as I can remember the both of us have called one another "Lover," so this sentiment was more than fitting! This card is most certainly for him!

Heart Hugger Bear!

Who's getting crafty on a Monday!!!

I have a fun project to share with you using a cute new file from SVG Cutting Files.

Beary Best Birthday!

So glad to be sharing more fun projects this year using products from Jaded Blossom!

The other day, Candace and Michelle put out a sweet new set of stamps called G'day Mate! And if you entered the December Challenge or were a Guest Designer in the month of December, it should be on its way to your mailbox. Yay! Congrats to you all.

I also used the Scallop Rectangle Dies 2, Border Dies, and the Stitched Circle Dies.

Well, I knew I wanted to use this sweet sentiment from the new stamps immediately and I just love how this card turned out.

I did go out of my comfort zone on this one. I hardly ever use ribbon on my projects because I'm not great with bows, And I especially never use wide ribbon, but I think it turned out just fine this time. LOL!

The paper came from a sweet 6x6 paper pad that Candace and Michelle sent me for Christmas called Party Girl by Photoplay. Thanks, Chickies, for the fun envelope of goodies. I appreciate you both!

The bear file is from Little Scraps of Heaven and is part of the I Love You Bears collection.

I'm excited to have made a birthday card. I don't make many of them.

Ski Bear!

Happy 2017!

I am starting off the year with a project for SVG Cutting Files. This Friday the store will have some new winter ski files and today I am sharing Ski Bear with you.

I have also used the Abstract 1 card base. It is definitely one of my favorites!

I used Card Mat Dies, Border Dies 2, and White Christmas from Jaded Blossom and the paper is Authentique's Winter One collection.

I hope you are enjoying your winter months (well at least those of you who live in a place that it is winter right now). I know I am personally glad not to have any snow right now. I had plenty of it the three winters I spent in Ohio. LOL!
