St. Patty's Day!

Melissa Miranda - http://iliketocreate.blogspot.com/

I'm very excited for St. Patrick's Day this year. Some friends of ours have invited us over for a traditional Irish dinner. I am so looking forward to it!

I want to share this card with you today using cut files from My Scrap Chick that celebrates this great Irish holiday!

One of my teammates from the My Scrap Chick DT had made this great card for Valentine's Day earlier this year and her card has inspired this one. Thanks, Kristen!

Wobbling Truffala Tree!

It is my Action Wobble Tuesday!

The other day SVG Cutting Files was giving away some free Dr. Seuss files on their FB Galleria and you know I was jumping on that. Super cute. (Unfortunately these files were only available for one day. But I would suggest joining the group as there is constant free files shared in the gallery and in regular blog hops. Thank you, Anne!)

Well one of the DT members was showing off her Lorax card as he hung out underneath his Truffala Tree and I was smitten!

Well, of course, I had to make one of my own (after getting permission to do a bit of scraplifting). I knew when I saw Trixie's card that that Truffala Tree needed an Action Wobble and I was right.

How cute is the Lorax and the tree wobbles!

For the card, I used We R Memory Keepers Simply Spring paper. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Simple Sayings stamp set and it is stamped onto a Spellbinders Wonky Squares die. And I added some buttons from my stash to the background to add more dimension.

Thanks for coming by!!!

If you would like some Action Wobbles of your own, you can pick them up at the Royal Shoppe .

If you use Action Wobbles already, we would like it if you would Like the Action Wobble Facebook page and share your Wobble projects with us.

Don't forget the challenges on the blog as well.

Please know that I would be honored if you would become a follower of my blog. If you do so and leave a comment letting me know, I will return the favor by stopping by your blog and becoming a follower as well.

Have a Happy, Crafty, Wobbly kind of day!

For My Daughter - Be Mine

Oh, she will always Be Mine!!!

My daughter is five and we spend our days together while her brothers are off at school and dad is at work. Not too long ago she chopped off some of the front of her hair. We asked her why she had done it and she replied that she wanted to be like her mommy. Downstairs I have a craft room and next to my table sits her miniature table. And every time we go to the craft store to get supplies, she needs her own. When I am in the kitchen cooking, she is standing at her miniature kitchen set and she is cooking too. And that is only the beginning! Yes, she is mine and she will always Be Mine!!!

Like most little girls, she loves pink. So, for her box, I used a lot of pink!

This box is the last one I made using the Love Me Do kit from SVG Cuts this year. I have enjoyed making these heart boxes!!! I also used the 3D flower from the Happy Birthday to You kit.

The paper is MME Lost and Found Record It Heirloom. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Valentine Treats stamp set.

I'm glad you stopped by!

I'm Bananas for You! And Some Exciting News!

So Friday was Valentine's Day as you know; and true to my nature, I was making last minute gifts for my kids to give to them when they arrived home from school. I thought I would go ahead and share two of them with you (the ones for my boys) on this post and I will make a separate post for my daughter's gift.

But before I share my photos, first I must tell you my Exciting News!
I am now a Design Team member for My Scrap Chick!!!

I have been using files from this company for many years and now I am so glad to be on their team. I look forward to sharing many projects with you using their super cute files!

I will be showing you two super cute Belly Boxes today.

These boxes are so much fun and so easy to put together!

The files come in many different formats allowing you to cut them out on several different electronic cutting machines. They also come with a PDF for hand cutting.

I just used cardstock from my stash to complete both projects and, of course, I inked the edges for dimension. I used my very old SU chalk around the eyes and on the checks.

I really like the stamp set I used on these. It is the Valentine Treat set from Jaded Blossom.
I really like the pun on the monkey box!!!

And the sentiment on the Skunk box is so versatile for so many different projects.

Hope you will drop by the My Scrap Chick store to check out all the fun files there and the My Scrap Chick FB page to share all your creations with us.

Thanks for stopping by!

Before you leave though, I hope you will become my newest friend on my blog. Just hit the follower button on the top right. Be sure to leave me a comment letting me know that you did, and I will return the favor. I know I sure like to check out the inspiration on many different blogs to keep my mojo flowing.
