Scrappy Mom's Stamps Guest Design Project 3 - Turtlely Awesome!

It's still release week over at

and I have a third Guest Design Team project for you.

This release has been super fun to work with.

Hope your birthday is Turtley Awesome!!! is a sentiment from the new Party Animals stamp set. I think this sentiment is just adorable. I paired the sentiment with cut files from Treasure Box Designs called Turtley Cute (Girl). I did change her hair though using a past freebie called Doll. The background paper is from Doodlebug Designs' Hello Sunshine Collection. And to finish it off, I added a piece of Trendy Twine's Totally Pink twine to add a bow. The finished card is an A2 size. Each piece is hand inked and chalked to add dimension.

Here is a close up of the sentiment:

And here are some pics of the new release stamps.

Scrappy Mom's Stamps Guest DT Project 2 - Squeal w/ Delight!

Happy Monday!!! It is a beautiful day! I hope all of you enjoy your week!!!

I am sharing another Guest Design Team project for

I am really excited to be getting into a new adventure for me in papercrafting. I am working on learning the intricacies of scrapbooking. Today I have a one page LO for you using a cute sentiment from the Scrappy Mom's Stamps new release set, Party Animals.

Here is a closer shot of the sentiment - "You make me Squeal with delight."

The cut files are from Treasure Box Design's Muddy Buddy collection. This is such a cute set!!!

I used the SVG format and cut them on my Cameo using DE. I then inked and chalked all my pieces before piecing them together.

My background paper is from K and Co. from the Tommy's Toys Paper Kit. I admit it has been in my stash for awhile. My LO measures 11 3/4" x 11 3/4" to accommodate the border that was cut with my Cameo. The file is from My Scrap Chick. The twine is from Trendy Twine and it is one of my favorite colors - Krafty Red. It comes in a spool or a mini. The photo mats will hold one 4x4 photo and one 4x6 photo.

It is so exciting to be working with the girls from Scrappy Mom's Stamps this week! Thank you to all of you for your kindness! I appreciate you all!!! Here is a look at the two sets of stamps for this month's release.

This LO is listed on my Ebay page here.

Scrappy Mom's Stamps Guest Design Project 1 - To the Moon and Back!

I'm so excited to be this month's Guest Designer at

This month's new stamps sets are out and are called Designer's Choice 2 and Party Animals.

For my project today, I paired the I Love You to the Moon and Back sentiment from DC2 with the Out of This World file from Treasure Box Designs.

I love the way it turned out and hope you do too!

The background paper is from G45. For my moon, I used a metallic gray cardstock along with some black and white inks to get my desired effect. The alien piecing was pieced together with various cardstocks - mostly Bazzill and AC - and inked and chalked to add dimension. The sentiment from the Designer's Choice 2 set is stamped onto a banner die from Spellbinders. The card base is 5" in diameter. For the blue lights on my space ship, I used some glitter Sprinkles from Doodlebug Design.

Here are photos of this month's release stamps. Stop by the Scrappy Mom's Store to pick yours up!

Pooh Bear Invite!

Oh, bother, it has been a few days since I have posted. Pinkeye hit my house and that will slow a mom down for sure. I have also been working on some birthday invites for a friend. Her daughter is turning "1" next month and she asked me to make some Pooh invitations - 20 of them to be exact.

So to make them, I used the Silly Old Friends file from Treasure Box Designs and added a bear face using the Bear Mouse Ears file and came up with this Pooh Invite.

The paper is from the Disney Classic Pooh paper stack from JoAnn's Fabric.

Hope you like it and will give this Pooh a try for your next Winnie the Pooh project!

Have a great day and thank you for stopping by! I invite you to stop by my Facebook and Pinterest pages as well. You can also find me on Instagram @mmirandcreations.

Happy Birthday, Doll!

I have decided that this will be the year of the Birthday Cards. As much as I like making cards, birthday cards have never been at the top of my list. But I have made some progress in this area this year and hope that it continues. For those of my friends and family whose birthday is in January - April, sorry that the year of the birthday is just now officially getting underway. Maybe I will still be in birthday card making mode next year as well. LOL!

My birthday is just a few days away. I hope someone remembers to give me a card!!!

Two birthdays this weekend so here are two cards made for the sweet girls they are for:

The Doll file is from Treasure Box Designs. It can be found in the $1 section of the store.

My cards are A2 size. The background papers are from Doodlebug Design's Sugar Shoppe collection. The label is Spellbinders and the sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Simple Sayings stamp set.

I really like how these turned out. So cute for little girls!!!

So glad you dropped by today. I invite you to follow me on my Facebook and Pinterest pages as well. You can also find me on Instagram @mmirandcreations.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Blessings,
