Zebra with a Backside!

I hope each of you have enjoyed your Saturday! I have had a terrific day!

This morning the congregation I am a part of opened up a mobile food bank for the community and we gave away some great fresh produce. It was wonderful! I really enjoyed the time spent with by brothers and sisters! I did some housework with my hubby and kiddos through the afternoon and just made it to my craftroom after watching the Cubs beat the Cardinals in Game 2 of their current series. Now don't get me wrong, I am not a Cubs fan. I am a Royals fan, but any team that beats the Cardinals is wonderful in my book.

So I have been sharing my 31 Days of October projects this month and most of what I have shared has been Halloween projects; but today we will take a break from the Spooks and I will share with you one of three boxes that I made for a baby shower I helped host recently.

My friend, Michelle, is getting ready to have her first baby any day now; so recently we celebrated this special occasion with her. We did a jungle theme and I made some treat boxes to sit on the tables. I'm sharing the Zebra today. This super cute box is from My Scrap Chick and is called Zebra Treat Box with Backside. LOL! Love it!

And isn't he just so super cute with his little tail on his backside!!!

So glad that you were able to drop by today. I enjoy your visits and your comments. If you would like to become a follower, there is a Google Friend Connect and Bloglovin' option in the right side bar. Or if you prefer, I also have a Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram page.

Boo! Halloween Tag

Happy Friday! It has been a long day today, but a good one!!!

To start the day was a little chilly and rainy, but so gorgeous as more fall colors are peeking out. I spent some time outside just enjoying the sights and the cooler air. I was able to substitute today and was blessed to be with a bunch of kiddos and making relationships with those who work at the school. And then this evening, I group of ladies that I love dearly got together for bible study and what a blessing to share in God's word. Tonight my heart is overwhelmed with joy!

I'm continuing tonight with my 31 Days of October projects. Tonight I have another tag to share. This one was really easy to put together and could be massed produce if you need lots of tags for this Halloween without much effort at all.

The file I used for this is from Treasure Box Designs.

It is literally five pieces of paper (and some eyes which can either be cut out and glued on or just stamped on to make it even easier), ribbon, a button, and some twine. I got my moon, bat, and ghost from the Boo-ti-ful You file from Treasure Box Designs. I am using the same tag that I have used the last several days with the other tags I have made.

So pick out your papers. My design paper is from Doodlebug Design's Ghouls and Goodies collection. I cut the base layer of the tag in black and then the design paper and glued it to the base. The moon was cut in a pale yellow and inked with three colors of Memento Ink - Dandelion, Cantelope, and Potter's Clay - to give it a nice glowing effect. Apply them in the order I listed keeping the color closer the edges with each new color. I use a make-up sponge to apply the ink. I glued the bat and ghost to the moon and then used foam tape to attach it all to the tag. I cut a couple of strips of ribbon and threaded them through the hole in the tag that I made with a hole punch. I then secure the ribbon with the button and some Totally Orange Trendy Twine. To finish it off, add a fun sentiment. Mine is from the My Craft Spot's Batty for You stamp set (unfortunately this company is closed).

Thank you for floating by today! I hope you will be back.

I invite you to stop by my Facebook and Pinterest pages as well.

Blessings,

Halloween Night!

It is Day 8 of 31 Days of October!!!
I'm back today with a card using a title file from

But titles aren't always for scrapbook pages. I used mine to make this awesome card!!!

The Halloween Night title can be found in the Titles section at Treasure Box Designs.

The card base measures 5 1/2 x 3 3/8". The background paper is from a Halloween stack called Mambi Sheets by Me and My Big Ideas. I used a lot of black ink on the edges to give it a nice vignette effect. The title is attached to the card base using pop dots. For the moon, I used a very light sheet of yellow cardstock and then used three colors of Memento Ink - Dandelion, Cantaloupe, and Potter's Clay - to give it a nice full moon effect.

Thanks for coming by to see more of my spooky creations this month. I hope you will drop by again soon. If you would like to be a follower, you can do so by clicking on Google Friend Connect or Bloglovin' on the right side bar of the blog.

Toad Witch!

And 31 Days of October projects continue! Yeah!!!

I have this super cute tag using a super fun file from

This little toad is just too cute with his hat, broom, and warts!!! I call him the Toad Witch. Mawahahahaa! Just too stinkin' cute!!!

The toad is from the Trouble's Brewing file from Treasure Box Designs. I cut him out and chalked and inked the different pieces by hand. I used a Peachy Keen Stamps Sweet on You stamp for the mouth. I think it adds a nice touch.

For the tag, I started with the Fall Leaf Tag from My Scrap Chick making some alterations to it and sizing for my purpose. The top layer of the tag is a design paper from Doodlebug Design's October 31st collection. I used foam dots to attach my toad. The ribbon and button are attached to the top using a piece of Totally Black Trendy Twine from Annie's Paper Boutique. I think the purple bat button is a spooktacuarly fun embellishment.

Have a Spooky Day!

Happy Halloween 6th (aka October 6th)! I hope you have enjoyed your Tuesday!!!

This month has been a lot of fun and it is only going to get better. Got a call today that Oma and Papa are coming in two weeks. My kiddos are so excited!!!

I have had a project everyday this month. I don't want to jinx it, but I am really hoping to craft the 31 days of October. This is the tag I have to share today.

This is the Cute Mummy file from Miss Kate Cuttables and he is definitely cute!

I left him the size he imported and then cut a tag to fit him. This tag base comes from a file from My Scrap Chick - Fall Leaf Tag. I used the internal offset function on DE to adjust the top layer of the tag a bit though. The design paper for the top layer is from My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Halloween collection. Once the mummy was pieced together, I used pop dots to attach him to the front of the tag. I then cut out the banner using Spellbinders' Pennant Dies. The sentiment is from the Scrappy Mom's Bewitched stamp set. I really like the combination of the two fonts on this one! The whole set of stamps is way fun though! To attach the ribbon and the button, I used a piece of Totally Natural Trendy Twine from Annie's Paper Boutique. All the cut files were inked with Creamy Brown Color Box chalk to give it some more dimension.

So glad you creeped on by my blog today! I hope you will come back for more spooktacular projects as the month goes by. If you would like to be a follower, you can do so by clicking on Google Friend Connect or Bloglovin' on the right side bar of the blog.
