You Make My Life Magical!!!

I have decided to give a try at the
My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge!

Isn't this sweet dragon just too cute!

I feel in love with the Magical Dragons stamp set months ago and finally broke down and bought it along with a few die sets. So today, for my card, I am using Magical Dragons, Magical Dragons Dies, Stitched Scallop Basic Edge Dies, and Dots and Stripes Fresh 6x6 paper pad.

I am also using the Stitched Oval Dies, Scallop Oval Dies, and Mini Tag Dies 2 from Jaded Blossom. The card base and oval are cut using a navy cardstock and the tag is cut in a lighter blue cardstock.

I used the MFT Sketch #343. I'm excited to be entering this week!

The dragon is colored with Copic Markers - B00, B02, B05, BV11, C3, and C5.

Thank you for coming by to take a look.

Blessings,

I Lava You!

The other day my daughter saw the short film "Lava" for the first time when watching YouTube videos with her dad. (Now, I love the Pixar short films, but I hadn't seen this one.) After watching it, she came to me and told me she had something she wanted me to watch that reminded her of me and her daddy. I thought it was the sweetest and told her that I had a stamp that says "I Lava You" and that I would make her daddy a card with it.

So, as I take over the SVG Cutting Files Blog today, I am sharing with you the new file called ...

Volcano Love

Not only is my daughter going to love this, but so will my hubby! He is so sappy and loves it when I make him anything. In fact, I got myself in trouble on the 4th of July because I made all three of the kiddos a treat bag but not him. Hahaha! This card will make up for it!

This would be great for an anniversary, Valentine's Day, or just any day to tell someone - I Lava You!

I used the Card Mat Dies and Kawaii Sentiments 2 from Jaded Blossom as well.

Thanks for dropping in to take a look!

Blessings,

Wonderful Birthday Wishes!

Hey, it's Tuesday, and I'm taking over the Jaded Blossom Blog with...

a Birthday Treat that will brighten any birthday!!!

I cut out all the dies using paper from Doodlebug Design and some white cardstock. I ran the Stitched Square Die through my machine with an embossing folder to give it the looks of bricks. I then applied some Spun Sugar Distress Ink to it before cutting the square in half. I positioned both sides of the square on my Lollipop Holder the way I wanted them and added the Label Shape Dies over them to cover where I cut the square in half.

Instead of adding a lollipop, I added some candies to a bag and stapled the bag to the inside and then used the closure to hold it shut.

I love the bright Doodlebug papers for this project and hope you have enjoyed it too.

There is an awesome sale going on at Jaded Blossom until July 24th, so you'll want to head over to the store and check it out. There are some stamps as low as 50% off.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Blessings,

Praying for You!

So when I saw that the Less is More Challenge Blog and the AAA Cards Clean and Simple Challenges have teamed up for a challenge, I decided to join in. I have wanted to make something for Less is More for a bit now and thought this would be a good opportunity.

I saw Trina's inspiration card from the Less is More blog and it made me think of the Altenew Vintage Flowers stamp set that had given to me for my birthday back in May. I hadn't used it yet, so I went to Pinterest and found cards using the same set of stamps; and I admit that I definitely scraplifted this card. Here is the Pinterest link to the original.

I used Memento Sweet Plum Ink and Papertrey Ink's Soft Stone cardstock. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Rejoice stamp set.

And because it was so quick and easy to stamp the first one, I decided to go ahead and make a second card with a different sentiment. The Thankful for You sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Happy Fall stamp set.

I look forward to using the Vintage Flowers stamp set many more times.

Thank you for coming by!

Blessings,

Day 3 of Three Days with Rudolph!

This is the last edition in my mini series! And this one may be my favorite!

Jaded Blossom has this sweet stamp set called Hello Deer that has the cutest little reindeer on it and I have been using this cutie for this series.

This is Day 3 of Three Days with Rudolph:

I used these Copics to color my image:

E000, E00, E13, E15, E18
R22, R24, R29
R20

I have had fun with coloring and think that I may have to color an image a day for awhile. It is exciting to find an interest in something different and coloring images is something I have dabbled in but not really done a lot of. I'm liking it!

The sentiment is from a company that is out of business (sorry!) and the paper is from a retired Carta Bella collection (I'd like to talk them into rereleasing it though.).

The metal dies I used are from Jaded Blossom -
Card Mat Dies, Card Layer Dies 2, and Label Shape Dies.

You can find all the products from Jaded Blossom in the store here.

I hope you have enjoyed this series. Thank you for stopping by to see my creations.
You can find Day 1 here and Day 2 here if you missed them.

Day 2 of Three Days with Rudolph!

I'm still having fun with Christmas in July projects and I'm hoping you are getting a head start on your Christmas projects too!

Jaded Blossom has this sweet stamp set called Hello Deer that has the cutest little reindeer on it and I am doing a mini series to show off this cutie!!!

This is Day 2 of Three Days with Rudolph:

I again used the same Copic Colors as yesterday's card.

Copic Markers :
E000, E00, E13, E15, E18
R22, R24, R29
R20

I struggled more with the blending this time. I think it was because I was trying too hard to get it to come out like yesterdays coloring and because I added more of the E18 on this one.

The sentiment is from a stamp company that is no longer in business and the paper is the same retired Carta Bella collection that I used for my Day 1 card.

The metal dies I used are from Jaded Blossom:
Card Mat Dies, Card Layer Dies 2, and Scallop Oval Dies.

You can find all the products from Jaded Blossom in the store here.

Hope you enjoyed today's card and that you will stop back tomorrow for Day 3.
If you missed the card from Day 1, you can find it here.

Day 1 of Three Days with Rudolph!

It's time for a bit more Christmas in July!

Jaded Blossom has this sweet stamp set called Hello Deer that has the cutest little reindeer on it and I want to share a mini series with you showing off this cutie!!!

This is Day 1 of Three Days with Rudolph:

I have had this stamp set too long to not have colored this sweet stamp!

I used Copic Markers :
E000, E00, E13, E15, E18
R22, R24, R29
R20

The more I use my Copics, the easier I am finding them to use. I need to buy some better paper as I am just using Recollections brand right now. Maybe with a better paper, I'd have an easier time with the blending.

The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Holiday Gift Tags stamp set. I love the fun font on this one.

I used some fun paper for this too. It is from an older Carta Bella Christmas collection - it is a collection that I wish they'd re-release. LOL! Do you have any paper collections like that? Something that you have a hard time using your last little bit of because you know that when it is gone - IT IS GONE. I have a few!!!

I used a few metal dies on this as well that are all from Jaded Blossom -
Stitched Circle Dies, Scallop Circle Dies, and Border Dies 2.

You can find all the products from Jaded Blossom in the store here.

Hope you enjoyed today's card and that you will stop back by to see the rest of my mini series.

Blessings,

You are One of a Kind!

Today I am sharing a new svg file from SVG Cutting Files. This one is called Parakeets. It will be available in the store this Friday.

I decided to use orange and blues for my card as the orange seems to be a favorite of mine lately and blue coordinates with it so well! After assembling the parakeet to fit on an A2 card base, I used the Card Mat Dies from Jaded Blossom to cut my background from some bright Doodlebug Design patterned paper. I also used Doodlebug paper on my bird. The sentiment is from JB's new stamp set, Pegasus Kisses

The parakeet was super easy to put together as Annie's svg files cut and layer so easily. This fun card will be a hit as I know a few bird lovers among my family and friends who would love to receive it.

Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings,

Celebrating!!!

Happy 4th of July!

It is my turn to post on the Jaded Blossom Blog and I have a super cute treat to share with you today using goodies from Jaded Blossom!

I know that sometimes we don't have stamps for specific holidays, so I wanted to share with you a way to make a festive treat for the 4th without one.

To start with, I cut three of the Ric Rac Topper Die and some stars from the Star Dies. I then used my Silhouette machine to cut three of the free SVG outline files of the United States that coordinates with the United States Map stamp set. This is where the fantastic technique of embossing comes in handy. I first stamped the image of the United States Map on my svg diecut using the Versamark Watermark Stamp Pad and then I stamped the word Celebrating from Invitations Galore over the top of it also using the Versamark Watermark ink. I then poured blue embossing powder over it and heat set it and was able to get a fun sentiment right over my map. I used some Doodlebug Design paper for my background and some iridescent white cardstock from my scrap pile for the stars.

I think they came out quite festive and so very fun!

Thanks for dropping in today! May your day be blessed with the joy of family and friends; and where it is needed, may God grant you peace and comfort!

Blessings,
