Happily Ever After Princess!

Used a digi stamp from Yampuff on this sweet princess card that will be perfect for a Bridal Shower or for a Birthday card for a little princess.

I have been practicing more with my Copics this year and decided to color up this image after taking the July 2017 Markers class from Kit and Clowder. I'm working on pleats in these big dresses. I love the B90's color combo in the Copics so that is what I used here. I used the E40's for her hair - probably E43, E41, and E40. My background paper is from Lawn Fawn and the cardstock is from Papertrey Ink. The dies and sentiment are Jaded Blossom.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look!

A Whole New World! Jaded Blossom June Release Day 2!

Hey Crafty Friends! It is Day 2 of the Jaded Blossom June Release Reveal!!!

We have two new stamp sets to show you - Diamond in the Rough and Happy Name Day! You can see both further down in the post.

I used Diamond in the Rough for both of my projects today.

The genie on this stamp set is just adorable!

I decided to make a little suitcase to fill with candies. To decorate it, I stamped the genie, the genie's lamp, and the sentiment on one of the new Label Shape Dies that we revealed yesterday. I used my Prismacolor Pencils to color the genie and lamp. The candies were made using the Candy Charms and Banner Dies. The box is the No Glue Suitcase from Lori Whitlock that I picked up in the Silhouette store and the patterned paper is from Doodlebug Design.

This one is for all you guy crafters out there! This would make a beautiful card for a groom to give to the bride on a wedding day or to give to your wife on an anniversary. The wedding dress is from the Wedding Wishes stamp set and the sentiment is from Diamond in the Rough. The card base is from SVG Cuts.

Wedding Cupcake Toppers!

Happy Tuesday!!! Today is my day to share on the Jaded Blossom Blog.

So a couple of weeks back, a friend for mine asked me to help her out with some cupcake toppers to decorate for her son's and his bride's wedding shower. Well since her son has been one of my favorite people since he was about 5 years old, I just couldn't say no. I knew I would have something in my Jaded Blossom stash that would be perfect!

My friend let me know that the wedding colors are gold and pink so this is what I came up with. I used the Stitched Circle Dies and embossed on the circles either a heart from Heart Splatters or the "love you" sentiment from Cupid Airlines using gold Zing embossing powder. The scallop circle is a freebie from SVG Cuts. Below is a picture I was able to snap at the shower with my phone. Not the best picture, but still shows how cute they are!

We attached them to toothpicks to insert them ineo the cupcake. The "love you" sentiment is one of my all time sentiments from Jaded Blossom. I just love the font!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings,

Ever After!

I am so excited to be Guest Designing for

The theme is March Anything Goes!!! (My Favorite! HaHa!)

I have made a card for my project today.

I did something a bit different and made this one smaller than I my usual A2 size. This one is 3.25" wide and 4.5" high. My background panel was cut out of the same kraft paper as the base just 1/8" smaller in both directions. I added faux stitching with my white gel pen. I then used some Jaded Blossom dies and an SVG file from Treasure Box Designs to decorate the card. The rose is from the Treasure Box Designs Rose Shapeez Card. I cut it with my Silhouette Cameo electronic die cutting machine. From Jaded Blossom I used the Luggage Tag Dies, Bow Dies, Mini Tag Dies 2, and the Wedding Wishes stamp set. This is the perfect card to stick in a gift bag for a wedding or wedding shower gift or a birthday present for a little princess. And if you change the sentiment it will also make a great just because or thinking of you card. The possibilities are endless. I just love a card that can fit lots of different occasions!!!

I have been blessed to join the Crafting by Designs Challenge Blog for this challenge. I hope you will stop by and see the incredible inspiration by their Design Team! And, of course, we can't wait to see your creative projects through the month of March!!! You can link up here! And look for their other challenges throughout the month as well!

Blessings,

Mr & Mrs - Bridal Shower Card

Wow, this has been a slow month for me in a crafty sense. I do have a few projects finished, but I haven't found the time to share them. I hope to remedy that in the next few days!!!

Today I have a card to share though. We had a wonderful bridal shower at the church this afternoon to celebrate the marriage of a beautiful young couple. Those who put it together did a great job! I wanted to make a card to give today since my gift was being shipped directly to them. As I was thinking about what to make, I remembered a card that Vivian Lake had made as a DT project for the PDE Linky Party a couple of months back. Yes, I'm even inspired by my DT sisters!!! Vivian does such wonderful work and I knew that I wanted to design my card after the fashion of hers.

I started with a 5x5" card base using a 110# cardstock. The black layer is cut at 4 3/4x4 3/4" and then the designer paper from Recollections Valentine 6x6 pad was cut at 4 5/8 x 4 5/8". The border strip is about 1 1/2" in height. The Mr and Mrs cut file is from Miss Kate Cuttables and is layered on red, pink and white cardstock. I used three self-adhesive jewels to add a finishing touch. The jewels didn't photograph well at all though and the photo makes me think of sauder spots.

For some but not all of the inking on this card, I actually used something beside my favorite Memento inks. I have recently bought some of the Mini Distress Ink kits and used a couple of the colors here.

If you want to see Vivian's original card, you can find it on this PDE Linky Party post here.

Thank you all for dropping in today.

Blessings,

On Your Wedding Day!

Simply Create Too has another challenge starting today.

It runs for 2 weeks and you can make a card or other project for any special occasion.

I decided to make a wedding card:

Any of you who visit me regularly know that I am not a stamper, but I gave it a try on this card anyway. Using the Wedding Wishes stamp set from Jaded Blossom, I stamped both the image and the sentiment on the front of this 4x4 card. I have a lot to learn as you can see. I think my ink pad is either drying up or that I did not press hard enough to get good coverage onto my image before stamping; but I still like the card. I think the image is beautiful! And this set of stamps will make giving cards for weddings very easy!!! I used Papertrey Ink's Vintage Cream cardstock for the base and the background for the image. The black cardstock came from my scraps. I inked the image with Memento Tuxedo Black.

Thanks for stopping in today and I hope you will join us for the challenge. And maybe you veteran stampers could share with me some tips. LOL!

Many Blessings,
