It's time for another Challenge Week at Craftaholics R Us Challenge Blog!

This week's theme is Sports!

Soccer season is just starting up for one of my boys, so I decided to make him a card that I could give him on the day of his first game.

I used Stamper's Select White and Blueberry Sky Cardstock from Papertrey Ink. The Blueberry Sky just about matches his team color. I used Spring Dies 1 (Version 2), Card Mat Dies, Sports Dies, and Go Team Stamp Set from Jaded Blossom. And for the background, I used the My Favorite Things Cloud Stencil that I just can't seem to use enough. So easy to use and makes a perfect sky scene.

Here Piggy Piggy...

Today, I am taking over the Jaded Blossom Blog with this sweet Pig who is ready for any little money hungry piggies!

My kids are always asking for cash for their birthdays. They are old enough that they want to shop for themselves sometimes and they are saving up for things they want. In fact, my oldest just recently opened up his first savings account at the age of 13. I'm one proud momma to know that he is already trying to make good decisions about money!

I have used the Envelope Die, Scallop Square Dies, Stitched Square Dies, and the new Pig Out Stamp Set from Jaded Blossom. The sweet pig is an SVG file from SVG Cutting Files called Piggy Bank. The pink patterned paper for the Scalloped Square is from Doodlebug Design.

Hay There! Jaded Blossom August Release Blog Hop!

Hey Everyone!  Welcome to Jaded Blossom's August 2017 Release Blog Hop.

If you're here from Candace O, you're in the right place; but if you're just passing through, you'll want to start at the beginning. This one is too much fun!!! The complete lineup is also at the bottom of this post if you get lost along the way.
Here is what I made:

I decided to make a fun scene between two farm pals!!! I used Card Mat Dies to cut out a white panel and stamped my pony from the new Giddy Up stamp set where I wanted her. I then cut out the matching svg file for the pony on a thinner paper and used it as a mask. After taping the mask over the pony, I used a cloud stencil and Distress Ink to form my clouds. I then used Copics to color my her. I also stamped the piggy from the new Pig Out stamp set, colored him with Copics, and fussy cut him. He lost his tail in the process - I hope he doesn't mind - hahaha! I cut a fence using Scenic Dies and grass using Spring Dies 1 (Version 2) and layered the fence, grass, and piggy at the bottom. I finished it off with a sentiment from Giddy Up and a few sequins. Love how it turned out!!!

I Heart Chew! Day 5 of the Jaded Blossom August Release!

Pandas Are Awesome! Day 4 of the Jaded Blossom August Release!

Day 4 of the Jaded Blossom August Release brings the cutest little Panda Bear!

Today we are sharing Pandas are Awesome!

Look at that little cutie!!! I used the new Gable Box that we shared on Monday and the Flag Dies. I did some masking on my sentiment to allow me to separate it and use half of it down next to the panda. The bamboo is cut with my Silhouette Cameo using the Pandas file from SVG Cutting Files. I colored my panda image with my Prismacolor Pencils. I used Kraft cardstock from Papertrey Ink for the the box.

A Sweet Hello! Day 3 of the Jaded Blossom August Release!

It is Day 3 of the Jaded Blossom Release and we have another cute stamp set

to share today called - Hedgehugs!

I have made a fun gift tag with one of the sweet sentiments:

I'm not going to lie! This sweet little gift tag is the first day of school teacher bribe!!! Actually we are going to give it to her on Meet the Teacher Night. My baby is going to a new school this year and we want to get things started right!!! This is also the first year she will go to school without one of her brothers. New beginnings all the way around!

To make this sweet tag, I also used the Wine Tag Die and the Label Shape Dies. The adorable svg file used for the Hedgehog is from Treasure Box Designs! The kraft cardstock is from Papertrey Ink. So sorry, but I don't remember where the patterned paper is from - I think My Mind's Eye.

Mermaid Birthday! Craftaholics R Us Challenge #32!

It is time for another Craftaholics R Us Challenge Wednesday Challenge!

This week's theme is Ocean Life!

And, well, I think Mermaids are out there in the ocean somewhere, right!!! ;)

I used Jaded Blossom's Mermaid Kisses, So Many Birthdays 3, and the Luggage Tag Die. I colored the mermaid and the background using Copic Markers go make my gift tag.

In fact, the background was my first ever attempt at coloring a background. I had stamped her on white cardstock and after attaching the top layer of the tag to the bottom blue layer, I decided that her background just didn't look good in white. So I watched a couple of YouTube videos and grabbed my BG11 and B00 Copic Markers and gave it a try. And I'm so glad it worked, because I would have been sad if the image had been ruined after all the work coloring it.

I really am enjoying the world of sketches lately! For this week's MFT Sketch Challenge, I used my one and only MFT stamp set again - Magical Dragons. The little princess is as cute as the dragons! I used cardstock from Papertrey Ink - Stamper's Select White and Hawaiian Shores. The patterned paper is Doodlebug Design. And my dies are from Jaded Blossom - Card Mat Dies, Scallop Circle Die, and Stitched Circle Die.

Howdy Cowgirl! Day 2 of the Jaded Blossom August Release!

I'm loving Day 2 of the Jaded Blossom August Release!!!

We are sharing two new stamp sets today - Giddy Up and Pig Out!

I love the little pony on Giddy Up and have used it on my card today.

I also used Jaded Blossom's Card Mat Dies, Rectangle Dies 1, Rectangle Dies 2, Scallop Circle Dies, and Stitched Circle Dies.

The patterned paper I used is from Carta Bella's Giddy Up collection that I have had in my stash for a little while. So glad to have this sweet image to give me a chance to use the papers. I colored the pony with Copic Markers. The card base is Papertrey Inks Kraft cardstock and I finished it all off with some Simple Stories Enamel Dots.

The card layout is inspired by a sketch from Paper Play Sketches - Sketch #48.

Dream Big! Day 1 of the Jaded Blossom August Release!

It's Release Week at Jaded Blossom! Welcome to Day 1!

This release is fun of fun characters, a new Gable Box Die, and lots of fun sentiments to help you with all your party favors and special treats!

Today we are revealing the new Gable Box Die, Elephantastic, and Llama Tell You.

I've used the new Gable Box Die and Elephantastic for my project:

After cutting the Gable Box, I had a lot of fun decorating it using the sweet elephant and some other fun JB goodies - Spring Dies 1, Spring Dies 2, and Candy Charms and Banners.

I also used patterned paper from Doodlebug Design, a stencil from MFT, and some crinkle ribbon from my ribbon stash. The elephant was colored with Copic Markers - C3, C5, and R20. I used Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to ink in the clouds in the background.

Pirates! Challenge #31 - Craftaholics R Us!

It's Challenge time over at Craftaholics R Us Challenge Blog.

Challenge #31 Theme: Pirates

Used an Svg File from Cre8tive Cutz. Wasn't the easiest to put together down around the bottom of the boat, but I managed to get it put together without too much trouble. And I think it turned out super cute!!!

The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's United States Map stamp set. The skull and crossbone file that I used for the flag is from Miss Kate Cuttables. The black twine is Trendy Twine from Annie's Paper Boutique.

The fun paper is the Echo Park Pirates collection. I also used some of the stickers from this collection to decorate the sides of the pirate ship.

You Slay Me!

My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #344!

I had so much fun making a card for this challenge last week that I decided to join in again!

I turned the sketch on its side and shortened the scalloped edge so that I would have a bigger panel at the bottom to decorate and add my characters. I used a piece of paper with a straight edge to mask off the bottom and then used Memento New Sprout Ink to make a grassy area. I made it really light so it is a bit difficult to see in the photo. I then used my new MFT Cloud stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to make a sky. I had so many friends making great cards with this stencil that I just had to get it. To make the blue panel at the top, I used a die from the MFT Stitched Scallop Basic Edge set and a die from Jaded Blossom's Border Dies set. The dragon and knight are from MFT's Magical Dragon stamp set and are colored with Copics. I added a sentiment from the same stamp set and finished it off with Doodlebug Design Matte Sprinkles and a piece of Trendy Twine from Annie's Paper Boutique. I just love how it turned out!!!

Hey, it is my day to post over on the SVG Cutting Files Blog and I have a new cut file to share with you from Kawaii First Aid. These files will be available in the store this Friday.

I cut out my pieces for the bandage and pieced them together. Then I used a couple of dies from Jaded Blossom - Card Mat Dies for the background panel and Label Shape Dies for the shape behind the bandage. The sentiment is also from Jaded Blossom and is from the Simple Sayings 2 stamp set. The patterned paper is from Authentique's Latest and Greatest paper pad.

I'm loving how the bandage pops off of the blue background.
